Korviis are a species of crow magically created by a witch called Corvinna Corax. Their main purpose was to help her collecting and sorting ingredients and recipes for potions and spells. With the natural intelligence of crows enhanced by Corvinna's spells, these crows have easily mastered speech and writing, and can be a really helpful companion to an apprentice wizard.
Korvii Artist Search!
Since I can't keep up with this species all by myself, I've decided to find some artists!
This isn't exactly a competition, though. It will always be open and whenever I need artists, I'll take a look at what's here and find a few to join the team. c:
But still, we have rules:
• Korviis have 3 preset styles of crests, but you can also leave it crestless.
• The picture has different layers for different parts of the bird, but if you want to color everything on the base layer, it's okay, of course. (I have separate layers because I find it easier, lol)
• Lineart edits are allowed, but:
- No extra wings/legs, no horns/antlers, no wingless/tailless Korviis. Basically, no adding/removing parts.
- The beak can have slight edits, as long as it remains corvid-like. (No falcon-like beaks, for example)
- Crests can be edited pretty much any way you like (just don't go too crazy, lol)
- Drawing different expressions is fine too.
• Don't have lineart edits on every single Korvii
• Don't make designs entirely based on animals. (For example, you can have tiger stripes, just not in the colors of an actual tiger) (Animal designs are allowed on the main adopts, though, just not on the competition)
• Don't remove the "FAKE for contest only" tag from the image.
• Don't adopt these out (After all, they're "FAKE for contest only", lol)
• Don't whine if I don't choose you.
• I don't really have a limit of entries right now, but maybe keep it under 5.
The rules for artists once one gets chosen can be found on the main thread.
