Official Ikrumere Artist Competition
xxxxx Welcome to the Ikrumere (Ick-rue-mere) Adoptables! As the owner of these, I really hope you can find a comfortable little spot! If you have any questions or issues at all, please, contact me! I'd be happy to help you! Really! The staff here will be chosen carefully based upon the qualities they carry, and if you have an issue with one of them, PM me, so I can take care of the issue. In the future, I may open something up so you can anonymously talk to me, if it makes you feel better. This is because I know of too many adoptables where the staff just do not meet up with good social/patient qualities and thus turn people away. I do not want these to be like them in any way.If you have any suggestions/feedback/advice/questions/concerns please PM me them! I'd love to hear them!
One of my goals here is to make people feel welcome here.

xxxxx Sooo... what exactly are Ikrumeres?
- xxxxx That's a wonderful question! Ikrumeres are a large, equine-based species. They take on Clydesdale-like anatomy regarding the height and thickness, and overall draft-yness. These equines live in large forests and meadows, and can easily jump over any fallen logs, using their cloven hooves and elongated tail for balance. As you may have noticed, they seem to have scales running around their back. However, these are no scales, and are very similar to a pangolin's keratin plates. These keratin plates, along with their leathery skin, help to protect Ikrumeres from lurking predators as well as what the forest may even offer. Keratin plates are basically longer hairs that have begun to group together, thus creating almost like a thick, tough fingernail. Stallions possess larger, thicker, and showier manes as well as spurs to help produce a powerful kick.
xxxxx Males, or stallions, stand at 17-19 hh at the withers, while females, or mares, may only be 16-18hh. Stallions are known to be able to produce, or sire, up to six times, while dams (mares) may only reproduce 3 times. Twins count as one "slot", however they are rather a rare happening. Foals, after being born, will be able to be kept, gifted, or put up for adoption, with the user who ordered the foal to choose which method, and if put up for adoption, will be able to give their input on who should win the foal.
xxxxx Ikrumeres may form small groups or herds usually containing a single stallion and 2-3 mares. The stallion is known to be "mates" with both or all mares, as this usually occurs in normal horses, and share similar qualities with them.
