Since Cry's a trickster deity, they can shapeshift between forms commonly portrayed as a trickster!!
So, that means things like cat, fox, and coyote. They're normally a cat just because it's nice. The fox form has torn ears because it was the first form Crykov took on the mortal plain. They saw a fawn that day too so that's where they go the flecks.
