(Yes, it is a Thingy. xD)

About: This little creature is called a Thingy (plural: Thingies). It is a very furry little thing with hints of other animals in its appearance, though it's difficult to discern what exactly makes up a Thingy. They are short, usually stocky mammals with long, feathery fur (especially their tails) and tall, forward-facing ears. The fur on their forelegs grows upwards as does the fur on their necks. They have a furry 'lip', flat feet, and huge, round eyes that often make them look like babies (though once you see an actual young Thingy you'll see the difference. Their babies, called Thinglings, are even cuter. A Thingy's adorable face never ages, though, and that's the reason why one might say they have 'FYS'. (Forever Young Syndrome) Not that they mind.
Doesn't everyone want a precious little Thingy that never grows old?

How to Adopt: Adoptions for these are fairly simple as long as you follow the rules. There will be requirements for each adoptable which you will see on the Thingy's page. Usually there will be a form for you to fill out.

____________
Guidelines
Just a few rules.
- Do not spam the thread.
- Do not steal the species or designs.
- Do not try to create your own Thingy without permission. Only Artists and friends get customs.
- If you no longer want your Thingy, do not sell it or give it away. Tell the artist who made it and it will be put up for adoption again.
- Do not bribe the artists.
- For now, there's no limit on how many Thingies you may own, but you may only win one at a time.
- Be friendly and don't whine if you don't get the Thingy you want.
- Love the Thingies. (duh)

____________
Artist/GA Rules
Artists:
- May have up to 3 customs, created by themselves or by another staff member.
- Can make Rare and Uber Rare Thingies.
- Are allowed to make major line edits.
- Must get permission to make a Type F Thingy.

GAs:
- Can be a GA for a week.
- Cannot make Rare or Uber Rare Thingies.
- May have 1 custom, created by themselves.
- Are not allowed to make line edits.
- Can make a maximum of five Thingies not including their own.

____________
Types
The different types of Thingies.
Type A: Common
These Thingies have common traits. Light colored, long and thick fur, the usual.

Type B: Uncommon
Their fur is a little darker than usual, but they're otherwise the same as most.

Type C: Rare
Rare Thingies have mostly dark fur (brown, black, grey) and their personalities usually reflect this.

Type D: Uber Rare
To be considered Type D, a thingy must be either short-furred or blind, or both.

Type F: Phantom
A Type F Thingy is a combination of Type C and Type D. They are darkly colored, and have either short fur or are blind (and sometimes both.) However, this was seen only once and it brought terrible bad luck. A Type F Thingy is a Thingy you never want to come across.

____________
Behavior
Thingies are very social creatures, but instead of seeking for a 'pack' of sorts, they look for a friend. Usually they get along very well and disputes involving one of them are rare. Their loyalty and outgoing disposition is what attracts humans to them and why they've been domesticated. They have similar behavior to dogs - they're loyal companions, fiercely protective when their human is in danger, and incredibly affectionate.
