What Is an Omar Dragon?

❝ Omar Dragons are a very small species of lizard that thrive in the wild and in captivity. The most prominent feature an Omar has are it's horns. An easy way to tell the difference between male and female Omars is by their horn appearances. Females have longer horns that bend downwards and curve up at the bottom, and males have short curved horns that look similar to a rams. No one is sure what these horns are used for, but many think they are used to attract mates in the wild. The average fully-grown Omar gets to be about two feet long, whereas newborns can only be a few inches. Normal weight should be kept in the 4-7 pound range, and their diets include many species of plants, rodents, and insects. Omar Dragons are said to have once had wings but humans bred that gene out of them, much like we have with chickens. Despite this, Omars love human attention, and live much longer, happier lives in captivity. ❞
☞ Omar Dragons live about 7-10 years in the wild, and 15-20 in captivity.
☞ Female Omar Dragons lay about 3-5 eggs in a single clutch, but only about 2 of those babies will survive.
☞ An Omar has never been seen with only one horn, or a lack of both.
☞ Omars can also survive underground. Although, they will go blind and their eyes glow a strange white color after awhile.

Breeding.

❝ Omar Dragons are generally easy-going creatures, and Omars are happiest with a mate. Omar Dragons will mate for life, and produce about 3-5 litters of children. Do you have two Omars you would like to breed?
{You may only breed two Omars once every 2-3 weeks. It may take longer to receive your new Omar depending on how busy it is.}

Customs

❝ An Omar Dragon can be any possible color scheme imaginable. Omar's are quite odd in the sense that while still in it's egg, an Omar's color scheme can be manipulated however it is needed. Omars can use this to their advantage in the wild, but humans have also taken notice how easy it is to manipulate their patterns. Thus, custom Omars were born.

❝ Each week a new litter of Omar Dragons will be shipped in looking for a loving new home! Although, sometimes shipments may take a teensy bit longer to arrive. Each Omar will be looking for a wonderful new owner, will you be that person?
All Omars that are have not been adopted will be placed in the pound and used in future contests. ❞
