Lost Spirits, also called Spiritus, are disembodied animal spirits, who take the shape of a wolf. Do not be afraid, they are not dangerous. They are quite lovable and rather like human company, and are a common, and interesting, housepet, as when frightened they disappear in a puff of smoke, and often float through walls and hide in strange places. They tend to give new owners a bit of a fright! They come in all shapes and sizes but travel in the form of a ball of energy commonly known as a Schattenbol, and will follow you. They can speak any language their owner knows and have access to their thoughts. Be careful how you treat them, as they may gossip about you!
