The laser shoots blue beams which can be radioactive. The beams couse explosion with fallout as result. The energy comes from the creature that uses the weapon, just a little energie is needed. The radioactive-powered meganism in the laser fortify the energy untill it has maximum power. This only takes seconds and then the laser is ready to shoot. The lights on the gun show how much force will be in the blast.
