Help! Which anime should I watch next!?

Lately I´ve been having a hard time finding good any anime to watch. It feels like I´ve already watched all the good ones out there, but I know that just can´t be possible! I´ll watch basically every type of anime there is, as long as it has good characters. So you can suggest anything you want, just so long as it´s not too ecchi or gory. By that I just mean no Hellsing or Berserk. I don´t mind watching normal fighting anime where people kill each other. I just don´t like it when it´s overdone.
Also, lately I´ve been thinking I might try watching BL or yaoi (Is that the same thing? I don´t know). But if you are going to suggest one of those, please keep in mind it would be my first one, and I need to get used to it first, or else I´ll be too disgusted .
And if it is an anime that takes a while to get good, please say so or I will only watch the first episode or two and then get bored of it.
Here´s my list of anime I already know (I know it´s long, lol). The numbers are there so I know what episode I was at. The ones that have no numbers are either anime that I finished already or that I watched before making the list, so I don´t remember where I was at.

i reccomend Death Note (aweeeessssooooommmeeee) or for a good horror/gorey: Elfin Lied or When They Cry (i can't remember the Japanese titel)

Elfin Lied has a naked woman in the first episode. Not that I'm against that, but just thought I'd warn you. c: I have heard it's good, but I saw the first episode, and it just didn't interest me. Erm... you've seen pretty much all the anime I've seen. XD Scrapped Princes I never finished, but I liked what I saw, I would suggest that.

ALSO. Above all, I would suggest Massugu ni Ikou. It's a very short series (4 episodes) about a dog who likes his friend and is annoyed at his owner for paying more attention to his girlfriend than him. It's realistic (so like, not any real fantasy, etc.), but it's really cute. X3 Also, along with that, Chi's Sweet Home. 8D It's like Massugu ni Ikou, but about a cat, and THAT is just ADORABLE. The episodes are really short, and it has an adorable ending (about 100 episodes).

Warabe no Kusa (Prequel to Date Ningen, featuring cute baby Yukimura)
Nabari no Ou (it's like Naruto, but it's a soap opera. NO NO DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT, IT'S A GREAT ANIME.)
Trinity Blood (Vampires, priests, and vampires that drink vampires' blood OH MY)

Un-Go (mystery series with a kid who wears a panda hat. nothing else needs to be said. It's a lot like Darker than Black in a way)
Rozen Maiden (I really don't suggest this if you're scared of dolls because it's about dolls fighting to because the perfect girl, called Alice. One of the first anime that I watched~ By the same people of Shugo Chara.)
Zombie-Loan (surprisingly, not a lot of zombies. Also by the lovely ladies who did Shugo Chara.)

Yes, I watched Angel Beats (and forgot to add it to my list ) but I didn´t really see any point to it. I actually thought it was rather boring. Same with Clannad. Everyone said it was so great, so I sat through 10 episodes of it before I gave up on it. I don´t know why I was so unable to warm up to it.
