Breif History/Story:
Beckett's special affinity has always been with time. He was never the strongest Mithrellian in the pack, his only advantage being his wings. Both his mother and his father were killed when he was barely a pup-only 42 years old-and he never truly matured like the others he knew. He discovered his abilities soon after.

He was chased by the hunters, who had slowed down, burdened by the corpses of his parents. They caught up, however, leaving his only escape to the sky. He flew, but was still no match for the hunters with their bows and arrows. One struck him in the wing, causing him to plummet to the ground. Seconds before he would have hit, he fell through a crack in time, to what would be his own distant future.

He saw his people: extinct, hunted, their once proud species reduced to no better than prey in what was once their own territory, their power and affinity with the land was gone. He knew that this fate was not inevitable: if the Mithrellian fought back against their human predators, or fled from their homeland, they would have a chance of survival.

Duplicating the scenario of his original accident, he once again fell through time, his coat now bearing the swirling, storm like patterns of the Vortex itself. He returned to his people, to show them what he had seen. None believed him, thinking that they had a chance of survival without leaving their homeland. He was exiled for spreading such "lies" never again to live with others of his own kind. So he wanders, trying desperately to get someone to believe him, knowing that his species will die without help, and soon.

Why you want to adopt:
I've always loved your designs, they're really quite gorgeous. There's a complexity to them, yet never anything that takes away from the overall appearance. I know that if I win this guy, I will definitely be ordering lots of art of him. I hope that I have a chance at winning, and if not, good luck and congrats to the winner.
