I need help with the layer tool.

I really dont know ANYTHIN bout it. At all.

It confuddles me, cuz I added layers and I dont know what happenned.

Please help!!!

underneath the layers are a + button and - button. press the + button if you want to add another layer. click on the words of the layer you want to delete so that it highlights it and then click - to get rid of it. It helps if you do the lines, bg, and color on three different layers.
So in order it should look like this:
