Intro
You watch as your step parent or parent's car drives away. You huff, and turn towards a wooden sign that seemed to be 100 years old. "Huh," you say alloud, "Seems like my great grandmother went here when she was my age." "You're probably right." The voice scares you, and you jump, turning. "Who're you?" you ask shakily, seeing a creepy girl with a scar over her nose and down her arm. "Kris. I'm Zax's daughter. You must be one of our new campers," she says. You nod. "My dad or one of the staff should be by the cabins back there," Kris tells you. She then walks towards the forest. A boy with scruffy black hair then dashes out from nowhere, following her. You take a deep breath, and walk into the camp. The few kids there flash you dark looks. But you know that you're one of them.
Plot
You have a parent or step-parent that hates you. So, they sent you off to Camp Nyx, a creepy camp where teenagers-- Mostly troublemakers-- stay. You do lots of normal camp things in the summer, but there's some things that just might weird you out. Like the fact that the crystal-clear lake is out-of-bounds, but the black river is open to kyaking and swimming. You can either stay year-round or just for the Summers and Winters. The camp was started 103 years ago by a man in his early twenties. Everyone called him 'Bear' for no reason, although the camp 'mascot' is a bear. But, Bear was Greek, and had always had an interest in Nyx, the Goddess of the Night. His daughter, Kie, took over the camp when he died. She died, and left the camp to Zackary Taylors, and he died also. Now Zax Taylors owns the camp. Some kids sneak off now, since Zax is pretty laid back. His daughter, Kris, will often lead groups out into the woods. Games are played every Friday, like Capture the Flag, Risk, and other games. Most teens here admit that it's not the worst camp ever, and sometimes is fun. Maybe, this isn't the worst idea ever.
About The Camp
The camp is very large. The cabins are all in a circle around the Main House, where we go to eat and hang out. The cabins consist of three rooms: A living room with a TV, couch, and a few chairs. Then there's the Girls' room and the Boys' room. Each room has a bathroom branched off of it. The bedrooms have six beds, and each camper has a space to store there things. Outside, there's a large, clear, sparkling lake that is forbidden. It's in view from camp, but a 10 minute walk to the South. East, across the road, is the Forest. The stream where Kyaking and swimming allowed is located near the Forest. Some games are played in the Forest, while others are played in the large yard behind the cabins. There's a place to play Volleyball and Tennis located to the left of the cabins. Well, there's plenty to keep you occupied around here.
