Our mission as the members of Project Renew, Renew or PR for short, is to improve the quality of wolf and dog rping. We love it, but it's not all it could be. Most of the plots are the same. They are all repetitive. The plot is almost always 'can you survive' but where does the RP really go? It goes to romance. And quickly thats what the rp becomes. They become centered around romance and quickly lose their orignal charm and appeal. Where is the friendships between the pack members? Where are the challenges for ranks and dominance? What about the unexpected plot twists where are they? And don't forget the realism. The one lined responses that are hard to reply to with more detail. Where are all the factors that can make a Roleplay more fun?





Just because our goal is to improve wolf and dog role playing does not mean we are trying to change it for everyone. The only people we are changing it for is the people who want it. This is our opinion, it by all means does not have to be yours.

Since The Renew way is how we role-play, let me tell you about our requirements for a post or RP thread for it to be considered a renew post or thread.

A thread requirements
A Renew thread? Well that's a bit tricky to explain. The requirements can be tough to meet.
First off they one thing that should be know it does not focus on romance.

Now here are the requirements:
~ They must have and enforce the posting requirements below. ~
~ There must be interactions between characters as friends. Wether it's FxF,MxM or FxM friendships. And yes males and females can just be friends. ~
~ There are different plots and even subplots and different things that make the RP more interesting. ~
~ The role-players contact and talk about the RP outside of the role-play.
~ Its Renew certified. ~


Post requirements
When posting a renew member may seem semi-lit, but why is that? It is because of our posting requirements and how we write. Emotion and detail. We write with depth. Create more out of our characters. How? It's simple and quite easy, but one must be willing to put forth a little more effort.

Now here are the requirements:
~ At least two good sentences per post, around 15 words, minimum. ~
~ They display they characters emotions tactically and they are not blunt with it. ~
~ They may tell about the surroundings. ~
~ They flow nicely and there are no choppy sentences. ~
~ They may contain dialogue. ~
~ They are descriptive and display the character accordingly. ~
~ They may "echo" the other player. Simply meaning they repeat what the other role-player said about what her character had done (action or dialogue wise), but in the perspective of their character. ~


How to get your thread "Renew Certified"
To get you thread Renew Certified you need to make sure your thread follows the guidelines above make sure it also is stated o. The first page that it is a Renew RP with a link to this thread. Then contact SilverPack with a link to your thread and way you think it should be certified. If your thread gets certified then you will be given a " certificate" that you can display on your thread.
