The redhead hums and looks to Silas then, saying "Personally, I think Mor should be second in command. You didn't name him though. I...will be second in command if you really, truly want me to." She looks to Haku, as he doesn't look like he's up to the task at the moment.

The black furred cat sighs as he looks at the other...and shakes his head. They won't listen to me...seeing as they've already decided. Plus, we aren't safe here anyway, someone is bound to figure it out soon. I don't want to put the otters in danger because of us... This is true, the elders will likely figure it out soon enough. That the gentle otters had taken them in, had allowed them to be there.

He then coughed a bit, shaking his head as he looked at the other. Plus...I don't know if I can shift back right now, is said, since his body aches. With a cold comes body aches, which are probably not very good for shifting. He doesn't want to feel uncomfortable as he shifts. If the other tells him to try, he will. He just doesn't want to be achy while he's shifting...so unless the other tells him to, he won't.

Tina (and Minn) Michaelis- f- 16- bear

The brown bear looks over at the two cats, and tilts her head. The fox cub looks up at her and mirrors her action, then looks to the others.

The golden brown eyed one glances to the cats, and finishes her food. She manages to get to her feet again, and wanders over to the cats. She sits beside them now, and wonders about the white one. She then looks to Haku, asking "Haku...are you okay...are... you feeling unwell?"

"Mates leading together isnt... wise." Is said slowly, "because then a pack or flock or clan, whichever you prefer to call it, would fall together without someone else to take over leadership. " is disagreed and quietly explained by Silas. "Besides that Nona doesn't have the link as we do. We need the link to keep -" There's a frown, "I don't know if she can even get a pack or mate link." A parculiar sound comes from his throat, a soothing skree kind of sound.

Lol, Silas, she said Morag, not Nona. Don't know if I should still post or let you edit. Do you want to edit? Or should I just post Jess saying that she was talking about Morag? Because that still works. We could just say that Silas misheard which name Jess was saying.)

The black furred cat looks to the human. She's speaking to him, so he simply nods at her. He then says okay, to his mate. He yawns a bit, and sighs.

The golden brown eyed one hums. She sees the cat seem to nod at her. She sighs and says "I'm sorry..." She isn't sure why she's apologizing, she didn't make him sick.

Silas is quiet a moment, "I chose Morag or Jess because they can communicate with the link, to most of the group. Nona cant." And he doesnt even know if she ever will. It doesn't stop him from loving her.

Morag is annoyed but the explanation is sound; "I think Jess should take it. She's more... level headed than I am." Is prompted, glancing at his beloved.

The horse shifter that Umak and Becca had spoken of enters the cavern common to the otter clan. "This is he," Umak speaks, guesting to the seventeen year old boy. "His name is Bas." Bas scents the air, then, wide hazel eyes turn on the bear shifter; she smells amazing. (He's too young yet to recognize that she's his mate. )

The young otter kit blinks at the fox kit - she's just a year or so younger than he at two. "Eat?" Is asked, holding out a peach for Minn.

Contrast is quiet a moment, *I mean through the link, mate.* there's a soft sound, meant to be a purr. *maybe some of the otters want to come?* but he is fairly sure that they wont.

The black furred cat tilts his head as he looks at the other. 'I guess...we could ask them. It doesn't seem to be likely though... Umak and Becca aren't even going with us.'

The brown bear makes a small sound as she looks at the horse boy. She stares at him, more like, then shakes her head and looks away. A real bear, a...non shifter bear would probably eat a horse. She doesn't want to hurt him, though, she just...she doesn't know what, but not that.

The fox, meanwhile, stares at the otter... then shakes his head. He already has the peach piece from Tina, which he hasn't finished, so he shows Becca that.

The golden brown eyed one makes a small sound as she looks at the two young...She says "Becca, Minn already has some peach, but...maybe we could save that one for later? We...we will need food for later. Maybe he'd like to eat that peach later, or... you could give it to me or one of the others."

Contrast blinks those green eyes thoughtfully; *im just worried about all the kits and no fighters.* is admitted by the white pelted cat, *the waste is dangerous. Kits die there daily.*

The otter kit tilts her head thoughtfully, trying to read the humans lips - she's deaf. Then, there's a nod and she deposits the peach in Nonas' hand before signing for the pregnant woman to eat. She turns and continues snacking on her other food.

Silas breathes relief at Jess' decision. "Further, I vote we leave tonight. Umak says they have a wagon and some beasts for us to use, they are being outfitted as we speak and I don't wish for our persuers to attack Umak and Beccas' clan for aiding us. All in favor?"

Morag raises his hand in agreement, watching as Bas the horse nods his head and raises his hand.
