sure, but they'll have to be in their anthro/humanoid form (as according to my front page announcement) .w.
Is that ok?

(idk if i'm supposed to use the stars or you haha)
rating: 8 ★★★★★★★★
piece i'm critiquing: https://img00.deviantart.net/46d6/i/201 ... c55brj.png

this piece is super good! the colours you picked are wonderful and the shading is really nice and goes well with the style. but, there are some little things i can see that could use work. first of all (the most obvious thing) is that you used a galaxy stock image for the inside of the hat/cape. whether or not this is a stylistic choice, always try to steer away from using stock images in your art, especially anime styled stuff. it won't go with the rest of the drawing and it doesn't look very nice. i recommend practicing drawing galaxies so you can add your own into the next one! second off, the hand holding the hat looks off. the thumb isn't on the right side of the hand and the extra lines don't fit right. if you're going to add little details such as defining lines, only use one or two and make them more subtle. lastly, the forehead is too big. in general, i have a rule that the forehead should be about as big as half of the hand, as that's usually how it is in person.
overall, this is a very well drawn piece that could use small improvements! i hope this was helpful!

I actually use the stars to critique critique, but that's okay X3
★★★★★★★★ 8 stars!~
I can definitely agree with the galaxy bit, it stands out from all the solid shading n' stuff and it probably would've looked better if I actually drew it, I just suck at drawing galaxies still :P I'll probably have to practice them a lot more now anyway since I love drawing snake witch so much-.
About the hand, I can agree with the extra lines, and I don't think they should've existed in the first place since the gloves aren't tight fitting. About the thumb though, it's actually on the correct side (if you hold your hand out in front of a mirror with your palm facing you, your thumb is facing outwards; unless you thought a different part was the thumb, in which case I'm just terrible at hands :D).
I can see why the forehead may look big because of the bandages taking up a large portion of it and then the receding hairline and I probably (most likely) placed the face in a really weird place, but I personally thought the forehead looked alright. The head isn't completely flat so I don't count the top of the head/curve as part of the forehead since it technically can't be .w. I personally think that it's because I didn't plan out where both eyes were thus why it looks kinda weird ;u;

Otherwise this is great! I know I probably ended up not agreeing with a lot of things but I can see where it's all coming from and some of it can actually be helpful :D
Lemme know what art you want and send over a reference and oh boy I have a lot of drawing to do :U

Ah, is there any fullbody references? I can see there's an outfit reference, but otherwise I do not necessarily know how the character looks ;w;
if you don't have one, maybe draw a messy sketch? I don't need much to go off of other than their anatomy and color scheme since you already have an outfit reffy

I already saw the outfit ref, I was just wondering if the character themself had a reference for their body (ex. hair, color scheme, any patterns on their skin/fur, etc.) .w.
