Shroom snails are magical little creatures that grow various different mushrooms on their shells. They love dark, wet places, and can only grow in the right conditions. They are often companions of witches or fairies, as they are thought to ward of evil spirits. Different mushrooms can have different properties though, so you never know what you'll get.

Origin: Given a new life from the sea itself.
Origin Story:
The small land shroom snail was innocent. He was only crawling towards a nice patch of rocks to lay in while being protected. Oh if it wasn't for those two nasty kids. They went playing in that same patch of rocks and found him, the regule old land snail. They thought it would be fun to bring him to the beach they were traveling to later. So they took him in a plastic bucket. It was not a cozy bucket. His head hurt now from all the shaking. Finally they got out of the car. Though, the next notible event was that they threw him into the sand. Oh how it was painful. They tossed him to each other. Back and forth, back and forth. He bared through it, thinking he would be taken home. But then they chucked him as hard a they could into the ocean.
Alas, he could not swim, and almost drowned. But the sea itself protected him. Over the next 25 years he survived at the bottom of the ocean. The ocean was now his home.
