Deerstar glanced around. "Hailwish will be going to Moonpool today," she infromed the clan. "I'd like us to keep up on patrols though," she infomred, her tail flicking.

Hailwish had left before Deerstar made the announcement, worried that the clan might get sick while he was gone. "Why I'm requesting for an apprentice," he murmured to himself, as he followed the path down. "StarClan, since the clan is getting bigger, I'd like to request for a wrrior or medicine cat apprenitce," he murmured softly, as he fell asleep.

"I am Sockpaw, destined to follow the path of the stars!" He meowed.

"Well, Sockpaw, destined to follow the stars, your first task will be helping Featherstorm with her kitting." Flintberry smiled to her nephew.

Gingerflash laughs at Sockpaw's words. "Alrighty Lilypaw, let's train with Softpaw and Chirppaw, ok?" Lilypaw nodded. These two cats were bullies but she was no snitch. She was scared what would happen if she did anyway.
Lilykit and Sockpaw become apprentices and Lilykit trains with Softpaw and Chirppaw. Featherstorm is kitting.

Featherstorm was completely out of breath by the time the kitting was over.She weakly lifted her head and asked "W...what do they look like?" Flintberry smiled, but let Sockpaw answer "The first is a silver tabby, who looks just like Minnowleap, but with white paws, the second is a tortoiseshell like you, and the third..." he stopped himself, wincing. "The third what?" Featherstorm asked, her eyes wide with worry Flintberry sighed "the third is fine, the little one's left hind paw though" "Spit it out!" Featherstorm snapped, wanting to know what it was they were so concerned about. "It's gone!" Sockpaw squeaked out

Howlingclan is considered ruthless, not having many
allies of their own. The apprentices are trained very
young that other clans are not to be trusted, even if
they are cats like themselves. Every night, two or
more warriors will be assigned to guard the camp,
just to keep them safe from others. The camp is set
on a rocky area, all the cats sleeping in what used to
be a cave for a hibernating bear. The leader sleeps up
on a tall rock, above the rest of the clan. The medicine
cats have an area near the back for them to sleep
and store herbs. Elders, Kits, and Queens sleep near
the back of the cave. Other than that, apprentices
and warriors area allowed to sleep where ever they
please, deputy sleeping at the base of the leader's
rock. The territory consists of pine forest, many
large rocks scattered around the area. There is a
large waterfall near the border that they call the
Falling Voices. All the deceased clan mates are
buried there. Everyone considers it a disgrace to
even hunt there, or fish in the water.

Aspenpaw returned to camp soaking wet and not too happy either. Oatstar trailed behind him, although she didn't seem quite as perturbed. The gray male immediately stumbled into his den and collapsed, not bothering to even fall into his own nest. Chuckling (evilly), Oatstar selected a plump woodpecker from the fresh kill pile and settled in the warmth of the sun to eat in relative peace and comfort.

After Aspenpaw had awoken from his nap, he lumbered over to his mentor, "Can we go training again? As long as it doesn't involve water, of course." Her lips twitched into a smile as she thought, "Perhaps I'm growing on him." "Your training has been completed and in a few moons you'll begin your flower quest. And besides, I'm traveling to the Moonpool today. Perhaps you'd like to join a patrol or something instead?" Shrugging indifferently, he padded off to find Sheepclaw, their deputy, but couldn't help feel disappointed that he would no longer be training with Oatstar.

The two warriors raced back to their camp. They reached the medicine cat den, and presented the golden flower to Echosong. She snarled under her breath. "That's celandine, you idiots!" she snapped, and took in a deep shaky breath. She looked them square in the eyes. "Maplestar will be fine. Her bleeding has stopped, and the poppy seed should have eased the pain. All the bite will leave is a small scar." she sighed. The two warriors gulped.

"Echosong." the leader softly whispered. "I have to go to the moonpool." she insisted, and the medicine cat turned around. "No, Maplestar, you need your rest." she turned back to the warriors. "Until she is fully rested and well, somebody will have to take over her role, temporarily." she shook her head. "I will be busy nursing our leader until she has healed, therefore Tigerstep will have to take the struggles of leadership." Tigerstep blew a raspberry at Snowwhisker, just loud enough for the two to hear.

The two warriors, one temporary leader, walked outside. Tigerstep sat down. "Well, at least she didn't rip our heads off." Snowwhisker joked. Tigerstep smiled. "I guess we should go on border patrol, make sure there are no cats straying near our territory." he looked off into the distance, which was interrupted by a snort. He raised an eyebrow back at Snowwhisker. "You sound so much like our dear leader already," he teased. "Come on then! Let's move it." and with a bounce, they both went on a probably dangerous patrol.

The Clan Ate a Leming and Pika using 2 serving

Deerstar led the way for the hunters, heading towards a wooded part of the territory. Once they reached it, she motioned for the group to split up and hunt alone in the area. All the cats went their separate ways for the time being, only coming back together again when the hunt was done and then trotted back to camp with their kill clamped tightly in their jaws.

Hailwish awoke after a few hours, looking around groggily as he remembered where he was. He sighed, hoping that he would be able to get his wish and find help. As he was leaving the Moonpool, he spotted a grey cat picking among the bushes not far from the entrance to the pool. "Something I can help you with?" Hailwish asked gently as he watched the little cat. "Oh!" the cat said as it jerked away from the bush and looked at him in surprise, "I am looking for some Cobwebs to bring back as a gift for the cat that I am suppose to find here." Hailwish could tell that the cat was quiet young, probably just old enough to be apprenticed. He smiled widely as he put two and two together to get four. He said i silent thanks to Starclan as he led his apprentice back to camp.

The patrol was passing the boarders and saw that nothing was amiss. They continued on and soon returned to camp with nothing to report.

The Clan was certainly busy today. While the whole Clan bustled with action, Weaselthroat and Iceberry relaxed in the shae, sharing a catfish. Silverwing summoned them for a hunting patrol, and the two quickly rose to join. Afterwards, the two lagged behind as the patrol returned to camp. "I was thinking about asking Tumbleflight to be my mate today," Iceberry confessed quietly. Weaselthroat's eyes lit up. "I was going to ask Ryestem!" Iceberry blushed. "Oh, you can ask her first, I'll ask him another time," Iceberry instantly offered. Weaselthroat laughed. "No, it will be great! We can share the nursery - think of how much we'll bond!" The two's heart swelled with excitement and love as they both went off to find their soon-to-be mates.
"Hey, Tumbleflight, are you busy?" Iceberry asked. The completely black tom swallowed the last bit of fish in his jaws. "No, why?" She wanted to glance away, but she forced herself to act normal. "I saw something weird on patrol and I wanted to check it out. Can you come with me?" Tumbleflight rose to his paws. "Of course - lead the way." As they padded through the forest, Iceberry forced herself to make small talk with the tom. When they were nearing the border, and they had both grown quiet, she twirled her white tail into his black one. "I love you, Tumbleflight," she meowed. He purred and licked her ear. "We should be mates," he meowed. Embarrassment flooded her and she laughed, nudging him with her shoulder. "Mousebrain, that's why I invited you out here!" Tumbleflight blinked in confusion, then heat flooded to his face. "Oh, I just stole your moment!" he meowed. They both started to laugh, and Iceberry knew in that moment that she was with the love of her life.
Meanwhile, Weaselthroat had taken a different approach. There was no lead-out-of-camp moment. She simply curled up beside Ryestem as she slept and fell asleep pressed against her. When Ryestem awoke, a single flower lay in front of her, with a message clawed in the dirt. 'I love you.' Ryestem glanced up, looking around for the cat who had written the message, and her gaze fell on Weaselthroat. With a soft purr, she placed her head on Weaselthroat's side and fell asleep again. When Weaselthroat awoke - she noticed that Ryestem had moved, and a response had been scratched into the dirt below her's. 'Our kits are going to be beautiful.' Weaselthroat laughed - that was exactly what Ryestem would say. She gently woke her new mate up, and when the other cat continued to snooze, she jabbed a paw into her side. Ryestem awoke with a start, and instantly laughed when she saw Weaselthroat. "How romantic!" Weaselthroat licked her forehead. "I save only the best for you!"

Tigerstep felt somewhat troubled at first. He had the weight of their tiny clan resting upon his shoulders, something that Tigerstep could not comprehend how Maplestar had managed to do. Making a mental note to respect her in the future, Tigerstep turned to Snowwhisker who appeared to have spotted something ahead. 'What is it, Snowy?'' Tigerstep sighed, fur prickling warily, following the white cat's sharp gaze. Lashing his tail, Snowwhisker's friendly face stiffened into one of fierce determination to see this intruder off. The stranger groaned, much to their surprise. ''I was just trying to find a darn home, these stupid clans keep popping out of nowhere like weasels!'' turning tail, the pale tabby had nearly slunk back into the undergrowth. ''Hey, wait up!'' called Snowwhisker. ''Sorry!'' Tigerstep chimed in, the two fools charging after the tabby. ''I'm sorry, sweetie.'' The stranger grumbled, pushing on a flame tabby, whom mewled in response, looking rather sad. ''I'm sorry!'' called out Snowwhisker, feeling quite guilty. ''We can shelter you two!'' cried Tigerstep.

as hawkeye and crowfall were patrolling the area, crowfall noted how.. different the tom was acting. "what's wrong with you?" the she-cat inquired, watching as the tom paused and looked to her. "oh, um.. about that." the tom began, swaying his tail in a nervous manner. "i wanted to ask if.. you wanted to be my mate." he spoke rather quickly, her ears tilting back as he waited for a response. a relieved smile appeared on his maw when the she-cat silently accepting seeing as she was quite surprised by the offer.

"so your name is bella, yes?" palenose questioned softly as he examined the grieving queen after they had buried her kits. the queen nodded silently, her gaze staring at the wall. "that is an unusually name for a clan cat. soon you will be given a new name after you proved yourself. our leader, chestnutstar, will happily give you a new name." he released a soft sigh when the she-cat did not respond. when the clan buried the stillborn kits, they had given the kits warrior names to honor them in their death.

oatpaw really admired his mentor, snowmouse. she was so patient and kind to him. he could not remember a time where someone cared so much about him. he quickly snapped out of these thoughts when snowmouse's quiet voice reached his ears. looking embarrassed, he quickly followed the she-cat to their next training session: hunting. the young tom was excited to learn this.
