important: if you break a major rule, you will get a warning. if you get three warnings, you will be banned.
major rules:
1) cheating
2) editing
3) spamming the thread with off topic posts
4) bullying/being rude/harassment
minor rules:
1) all of tess' rules apply
2) answers have to be spelled correct in order to win, no ridiculous answers please
3) the first player to get the correct answer wins
4) you can guess as many times and win as many times as you like per picture, but only one guess per post
5) only helpers and i can post pictures
6) please give me their full english name and not their scientific name, unless i state otherwise
7) when there is more than one picture, please put in the number of the picture
8) have fun and learn something! XD

Because helpers will not be giving out pets to the winners, players have to be patient. i will give out the prizes to the winners when i come online after school. it may take a while longer sometimes as i have after school activities. if, i happen to miss you, please kindly pm me the breed name and page number. thank you c:

NOTE: there is a new helper rule. any helper that has been inactive in helping for a week with no valid reason will be "fired".
another thing is, hints can be given only after five wrong guesses.
New rule for helpers: helpers on trial have to help out within two days because it is a trial and i have to see whether you're fit for the job (: those who do not help out within two days will be removed. Thank you for understanding
bumping
only me and the helpers are allowed to bump, i do not want the thread to be filled with bumps. if you guys want to bump a second time, please delete your previous bump. I do not want the thread to be full of bumps, and please if possible, just put bump, not other words. Also please bump within at least ten minutes. I'm really sorry if it seems really demanding but I do want this thread to be really organised. Thank you!
reminders to new helpers:
1) I'll give out the pets to the winners, so you don't have to do that
2) only take over when the previous helper is inactive from 45 minutes to an hour
3) for bumping, only bump every 10 minutes and please delete your previous bump
4) if you are posting a mixed or extinct species, be sure to state that it is
5) if you are going to post a few different species in one post, remember to put numbers beside the pictures and only accept answers which have the numbers on it
6) remember that names have to be full and spelled correctly to count as a correct answer
7) as a helper, please do look out for major rule breakers and pm me the page number. Major rules are stated in the front page.
8) for cheating, please look out for players who use the animal name found in the url or if they use reverse Google image search
9) if you are going to be away for more than 45 minutes to an hour, please remember to pm me the answer for your picture
10) when you are inactive and someone else posted a new picture, please do not go back and find the correct answer for your picture, as it will make it very confusing for me.
11) five wrong guesses and you can give a hint
