Rainpaw had spent the day with Riverpaw, trying to recover from losing the deputy. Her body still trembled when she thought about how the clan announced that Snowthorn was murdered. What if the killer came for her? Or Riverpaw? Was this the kind of killer who killed kits too? Her thoughts were interrupted as Runepelt's body came plummeting from the sky. The apprentice didn't think she would ever be able to get over the sound the warrior's body made. She couldn't help but let out a shriek, and she immediately buried her face in her friend's fur. Why was this happening? and then an even worse thought crossed her mind- they were wrong about Eaglefeather, the killer still lived among Thunderclan.

Scorchflame was minding his own when a body plummeted to the ground, he whipped around at the noise and stood frozen to the ground as their warrior, Runepelt laid lifeless on the ground. The pale tom gulped, he wasnt very scared by the body, but by someone murdering their own clanmates? The tom wordlessly, made his way to Ravenwing, stumbling over his paws and wobbling. "Ravenwing, who would do such a thing?" he whispered, his gaze hard as he glanced over to the crowd forming at the warrior's limp body.

fear panged rabbitfoot's heart as he saw runepelt fall into the middle of camp. he raced to help, but he knew by the sickening snap of her spine that she was gone, or best case scenario paralyzed. he went to his den and brought back some strong-smelling herbs to hide the scent of death, knowing that the Clan wouldn't be able to instantly bury her in case there were clues on who her killer was. he murmured another prayer in the hopes that it might help guide her to StarClan, but he hoped that she was already there. show me a sign of the killer, he begged mentally to her spirit, and snowbird's as well.

Daggerstar was sure the Clan was safe after exiling Eaglefeather but heard a spine tingling crack in the middle of camp. He charged out of his den and saw Runepelt, the Cay who also believed Jaybird did it. "So, you decided to keep her quiet by flinging her off the cliff!" Daggerstar realised. He hadn't even noticed they had a cliff.
