weather;; during spring, kittings will run much smoother and the chances of the queens or kits dying during birth will go down dramatically. there is also a higher chance of you catching more prey than usual. the chances of catching greencough, whitecough and kittencough will go down. with all the snow melting, it is very likely that your territory will start flooding. there will also be more storms that will contribute to the flooding. the odds of finding new cats is very high.

Tribe of Sinking Willows
Number of Cats: 5
Servings: 2

Leafteller froze, tilting her head at the molly that appeared, pushing forward quickly and blocking her path before she could leave. May as well ask an intruder what they come for. Sunset took the cue and went to back her up, still muddy, though she had cleared at least a good portion of the mud on his tail now. He tried to look threatening, but how threatening can a kindhearted puffball even be?
"Could I please ask you what you are doing here, so deep in my Tribe's land?" Leafteller asked gently, seeing how terrified the molly seemed to be, how shaken up and unsteady.
"M-my family...we were passing through and...and...some giant lizards attacked up and...and we got separated...if you could...please...please help me find them." She pleaded.
"I would be happy to. Where did you last see them?" Leafteller asked, smiling and moving so stand beside the worried molly, most likely a mother. She drank in the air as the stranger looked around.
"I'm..I'm not sure..." She muttered, afraid that would deter the healer from helping her.
"Hm...I think I can smell cats that way. Sunset" She turned to the tom that now sat on a rotting log, washing some more of the mud away from his pelt now that he wasn't needed. He perked up, standing tall and ready. "You may return to camp. I'll handle this."
Sunset nodded, frozen and reluctant for a bit before turning and cautiously stalking off to head home.
"Now then. Follow me. I'll see what I can do." The teller led the mother along in search of her family.

Sky was nervous about the possibility of another beast like the one she had seen with her brother before, glancing around more often than she smelled the air for prey. Not like there seemed to be anything all that edible in the swamp anyway. She couldn't help but flinch each time even the tiniest of sounds came from her eyes up above. She could swear that she felt and heard his judgment of her as she moved quickly, yet clumsily through the mud. Lucky tom got to sit up in the trees where it's dry all day. She muttered a curse under her breath, climbing up to a branch, glancing at Flame. The ginger tom's tail was slightly twitching as he crouched, eyes focused on something. All of a sudden he jumped, landing on the branch of another tree, a bird struggling to escape his jaws as the Tree-Dweller got a good firm hold on its wing with his teeth. The cat pinned the bird, slitting its throat and picking it up by the neck.
"Whatcha staring at, toots?" He asked, eyeing the sitting molly that watched him, speaking around the feathers that muffled his speech.
"Oh, nothing, nothing. Think that crazy Leafteller would let me hunt in the trees too?" She moved from branch to branch more cautiously, but soon reached him, sitting beside the waiting tom.
"I wouldn't count on it, but it's worth a shot. Anyway, you wanna still hunt? All the birds in the area are probably gone now, but maybe you could strike some juicy morsel down there too. While you weren't looking, I'm quite sure I saw some fish splash around in the water nearby." He offered, gesturing to the vague direction with his tail, trying to be helpful.
"No thanks. Even if that's true, I think I prefer being in the camp even. It's dry there and the sun comes through the trees."
"Fair point, fair point. There's four of us, though. Are you sure this bird will be enough of a catch."
"It'll have to do. Come on. I'm supposed to be leading this." Sky sighed, trying to move through the branches to get back without even more mud on her paws. She was slow, but Flame didn't mind slowing down and matching her pace. They made it back to camp a bit longer after than they normally would have, but no one was complaining. The first thing they saw was a lone white and ginger tom pacing around in the small clearing, looking anxious. Sky hurried to her brother's side, the two greeting each other cheerfully, sharing news about what had happened while they were out and if they saw any more of those alligators. As Sky spoke about Flame's catch, she looked around, only to notice he was out of sight, having disappeared somewhere. She sighed, going back to chatting without him around.

It's Spring~ Birds are flying through the sky, flowers are blossoming, and everything is becoming green once again.

As the ceremony ended, Apollo went out to patrol along with Artemis. Apollo hoped to catch more prey for the Tribe, while Artemis tagged along to patrol the territory.

Lelantos immediately took his excited to-be to the training area, and began teaching Chrysos some of the best moves he knew.

Knowing that the Tribe was busy, Starteller curled up in her sleeping hollow and went to sleep.

Starteller tried her best to settle the nervous Isis down. She felt the queen’s anxiety; with her kits, Horus and Minerva, running off every now and then, it was worrying. Who knew which hawk wouldn’t hesitate to pick up a juicy kit or two?

Chrysos did a good job playing with Minerva and Horus, but Lelentos called him to training for the day. Artemis volunteered to stay to guard the kits, but Isis decided to stay. Artemis went on a patrol and Apollo went hunting with Starteller.

The tribe of tempest tossed seas

We roar, we rage, we reign!

Thrift proved to be wonderful company and Storm was chuckling along side the russet-furred guard as they plodded back to camp. Apparently Thrift had been exiled from his tribe after being framed for murder, Stormseeker was astonished to learn of this. ''You're a charming fellow! There couldn't be blood on your paws!'' The dark grey tom exclaimed, as the two clambered up to the tribe's high camp. ''May I have the honour of you joining my tribe?'' Stormseeker inquired, much to the astonishment of Crag who recalled that Storm had forced her into his tribe. The shock burned within the dark molly. ''You didn't ask ME if I could join!'' She hissed, catching their attention. ''You forced me into joining and you're just gonna ask politely if he could join? Typical.'' Crag grumbled, glaring at the two.

Coolly, Thrift spoke first. ''You must be the bad-tempered cat Storm spoke of, I'm not honoured to meet you.'' This remark earned a snarl from Crag and the molly storming off. ''Nice to meet you though!'' Thrift called out sarcastically, watching Crag taking her leave. ''I can't believe she's so rude, I truly apologize.'' Thrift murmured, much to the admiration of Storm.

''Oh, no...I'm sorry.'' Storm sighed. ''You are Thrift that grows among thorns, for you have to deal with this and still bloom.''

Thrift appeared satisfied with this.

Crag storms off to find another cat, she's determined to prove she can be friendly.

Current Season: Spring.

The snow has begun to melt completely, leaving only sludge behind. Ice on most all bodies of water has melted too, though this means that the water levels have begun to rise - thankfully that's nothing life-threatening though. Prey is easier to catch, cats are easier to find, and it seems the forests have begun to heal from the long winter.

origin the founder of this tribe was a former clan cat by the name of greystorm, who was fascinated by tribe life more so that he wanted to become a tribe member himself. territory the tribe is located in the middle if a forest surrounded by a few bodies of water. The first is what they call issa river; by crossing this river you enter the tribe's territory. Two-leg's treasure is used to teach let's how to swim in order to stay apart of the tribe. After a half of tree length, you enter the camp. The first thing that would catch your eye is the high rocks, which you would find the stoneteller (spends most of their time there). There is also a huge rock that contains many dens for each rank to sleep in, the tribe mates call this the shelter stone. Since, the tribe is fairly new they are still exploring to expand their territory. They also live fairly close to a two-leg village which they keep watch of.

traditions The traditions are the same as the original tribe, but instead of changing their name to "stoneteller" the rank is called "stoneteller" instead of "healer". The stoneteller also has a deputy called the "stone seeker". Since, howl was a huge part of the tribe creation, greystorm created this rank for his most trusted tribe member.
This tribe is welcoming to all kittypets, and even loners, but they are extremely hostile towards rogues.

"A flash of red on the horizon..." Dawnteller looked up from the pool of Shimmering Truth to the jagged hole in the roof where the streaky sky glowed, red clouds drifting west. A large black cloud stalked across the sky suddenly, but when Dawnteller blinked it was gone.
"The clouds are stained with dark omens!"

"Welcome to our meeting," Leaf pricked up her ears. Something-or someone- talking in the bushes!
Inviting her! She let out a squeak of delight, only to quiet herself as a shadow flitted over into the bushes where the voice came from. A small Gale-Guardian also moved closer to her, a claw over his muzzle in silence. Ember was playing the game too!
"So you want to take over this tribe?" Leaf's ears pricked up, her silver pelt bristling. "Don't say that, dear Rowan. We are merely going to become stronger, maybe strong enough to let the tribe join us." Shadow's voice was clear now, betraying no emotion to the two listening cats. "What if-if th-they st-op us? I mean... if you don't mind... can't we just live in harmony? We don't have to be all power-" Leaf imagined someone silencing Olive with a sharp glare. A leaf began to tickle her nose.
"Ahh---Mewww!"
the kit sneezed, before batting at the leaf as it whirled through the air. Heavy pawsteps came closer. Two green eyes ablaze with anger stared down at her. Shadow's wrath! "Hello, little kitten. Aren't you a bit far from your mother?" her cool voice made the kit stiffen, and she whimpered. "Come play with us, Leaf, and eat some tasty berries!" Shadow continued. "I-I don't think t-that is-" Shadow growled at Olive appearing behind her. "Open Wide!" Shadow purred, her grin stretching wider. "No!" the kit stiffened with fear.

Ember had hidden further in the bushes then Leaf, and watched his sister in horror. He knew it! The kit had a long life ahead of her, and she wasn't going to waste it. Just as his scheming sister reached out to give the berry to the kit, he jumped forward and took it in his jaws. He had to get rid of it. The tom swallowed.

"We need to get some... Yarrow!" Leaf cried. "Yarrow! Yarrow!" Grass trailed behind her loudly, wailing even though he didn't even know what it was. "I think I have found my to-be." Dawnteller said quietly. "Wait... Yarrow?" Dawnteller panicked, before getting the herb quickly and getting it to the two kits. "What ever you need it for, use it quickly!" with that the two kits ran off, Leaf calling something to her. "Shadow tried to feed me some berry, but Ember ate it for me!" Dawnteller sat up. "What?!"

( i've gotten adult images of all of your to-bes and mini-clouds - if you don't choose to use these images, or if you just want to keep their kit refs even as adults, that's fine ! i like having adult images, personally, though ! and you can definitely pick out different images if you can find more accurate ones, it won't hurt anything ! :> note : kits are generally born with blue eyes that change over time, so eye colors can be different ! )
