JudgesIn ARPG communities like this where activity is really important to uphold a sense of commitment, it's also very important to spread the responsibilities of our staff evenly so that no one gets overwhelmed. To keep artists from getting overwhelmed and to avoid any late-running contests,
Judges take the responsibility of handling the technical side of running contests!
This position is responsible for:
— compiling qualifying entry forms
— rolling raffle results
— judging competitions
or assisting the artist in doing so
— posting competition/raffle results
— giving the artist the winning form information
updated in the character's main post to reflect the new owner
ArchivistsA vital part of managing a project like this is to always stay organized, something that can be hard to do left to a single pair of busy paws! Archivists are necessary to keep things up-to-date and ensure that the game runs smoothly in a back-end technical sense.
This position is responsible for:
— updating the Google Sheets document
— quoting forms to confirm their documentation
— keeping track of item possession
— keeping track of design ownership
— updating archive to reflect trades or purchases
— working with moderators
archivists mainly just need to update the archive, while moderators will handle the majority of forms and pass information that needs to be updated to the archivists

WritersOne of the most integral features planned for this ARPG is the RPG aspect of exploration, NPC interaction, and development. It's a lot for any one person to handle, even during a run with a limited number of players. Having writers ready and willing to share their creative talents will help keep the game moving, the player's progressing, and keep the community active! Think of it like roleplaying, where you get to feed into the creativity of others to write a unique story!
This position is responsible for:
— claiming activity forms
— writing 'choose-your-own-adventure' type adventuring responses
— writing training responses
— roleplaying as NPCs that may appear
— rolling for rewards, events, etc
— helping to make pre-written NPC interactions*
— helping to make pre-written random events*
*any pre-written event or interaction can show up randomly in any writer's response if rolled for
this is optional and not required of every writer

ModeratorsWhere there is a lot of information, there are always questions. Having helpers around to relieve the expectation on others to answer these questions helps keep everything organized and simple! Moderators can help others with forms and questions they have to keep the forums uncluttered.
This position is responsible for:
— checking that forms are filled correctly
— helping players correct improperly filled forms
— answering technical (and sometimes lore!) questions
— keeping poor sportsmanship out of the community
— alleviate pressure by proxy-claiming for artists/writers
available upon artist/writer's request
— moderators may also help archivists
moderators can quote forms to confirm them and make archivists aware of any updates that need to be made to the archive

Artists
Consistency is the most important part of all this. You can't be consistent in an ARPG without committed and consistent artists, of course! See the artist positions below.
Design Artist
Responsible for creating first-generation adopts. Must also create a prompt or form requirement for each competition, typically will be raffled off between eligible applicants. May also make Runner-Up designs for their own adopts or for others (if another artist communicates needing help with that!)
Nursery Artist
Responsible for creating litters between characters being bred and drawing their growths. Kittens and their growths must be made at the same time to make sure they will be posted on time. In the case that a litter or growth has taken longer than 2 weeks to complete for any reason, another Nursery Artist will be asked to take over if we are unable to contact the Artist who accepted the litter or if we can confirm they will be unable to complete the litter/growth with a third week.
A Nursery Artist may also request help from any other artist to complete a litter or growths.
Graphic Artist
Helps to create graphics for threads, events, and items.
Guest Positions
Every artist position has a Guest Term of 1 month. At the end of your Guest Term, you might be asked to join the team permanently if that's something you're interested in doing! If not, you're always welcome to reapply for another Guest Term.
