Hey everyone! Chubbies is currently looking for staff members! This thread is specifically meant to find artists. To make it a fun, competitive search, I've created a contest for all applicants! This way, I can see who's really up for the task of becoming a Chubbie artist! Artists get paid 5 Treats for every adopt they make, and can make a custom for themselves upon entrance into the team!
This search is ongoing! I may immediately add you to the team or come back to your application.

The Task

The task is to make 3 of the best-quality Chubbies as possible. Your ultimate effort should be put into each of your 1-3 entries, to show off your skill with pixel and design on a small canvas. Entries will be judged based on design choice, color palette, the artistic quality of the edits, and the amount of effort that is seemed to be put into the piece(s). Added shading will not alter your score, so if you don't shade the piece, it doesn't deduct!

Rules
- You cannot keep the Chubbies you make for this competition; all designs and edits you make using the lineart below belong to Canisomnia, and are not to be used anywhere else!
- If your design doesn't win, feel free to use it on something else(i.e. one of your own adopts).
- More than one artist can win; all winners will be added to the staff team.
- These rules are subject to change at any time, with or without notice.
- The competition can end without a winner.
- Please no insulting your own creations or others' creations!
- Don't chat; only post entries on this thread.

Guidelines

- This lineart must be used.
- You can make a maximum of 3 Chubbies for this competition.
- Lineart edits are allowed.
- Collaborations are not allowed.
- The image size of the final product may be changed; any outlandish lineart edits are welcome! Be creative!

what inspired your creations. i. it's currently freezing cold where i live, so
i wanted a little spring bunny. ii. i made the two other chubbies before this one
and i decided i needed one that wasn't so pastel. i made it very late at night and
was thinking of the branches against my window. iii. as much as i despise being
cold, i couldn't help but mke a little wintery/christmasy chubbie.
why you want to join chubbies. i've never worked with anything so small
and i think it'd be a good experience for me to expand. i've also been learning
how to make effective designs and how being a part of adoptable species works.

Chubbie 1- A Darker Sea Based Color Palette - Finished -

Chubbie 2- Based off a Raisin Raspberry Cupcake I ate OwO (it was good believe me lol) -Finished-

Chubbie 3- I've been binge watching gravity falls (for the like hundredth time o o p s ) -Finished-

why you want to join Chubbies: Joining chubbies personally would be a good experience for learning and growing my digital art skills and it would be an awesome oppertunity to interact with a species I believe will grow tremendously with the proper care and environment.

What inspired your creations:
First chubbies is inspired from my mom.
Second Chubbies is inspired from a character of webtoon.
The third chubbies is inspired from my animal jam character and from a movie.

what inspired your creations:
1) I was watching Sound Of Music, and someone dropped this little tomato! It's bruised now.
2) This is based off of a boy's rabbit I met a few years back. She had vanished and made her way here. Into your heart.
3) Lastly, this one is based off of a goat. This baby has spent way too long in the snow! Brrr~

why you want to join Chubbies: I really enjoy drawing for others! It makes me quite happy to bring joy to everyone! Plus, they're adorable doggos'.

#1- suds! the bee chubbie idea, event though i don't like bees much myself, sounded really cute and i wanted to see it done!
#2- at first it was going to be a bunny chubbie, actually! then i started experimenting with pinks and this little guy happened!
#3- sunsets, and curling up before bed <3
