The hills were tyrannous, your muscles felt like they were
splitting, torn and pulled from days walking. Your third
destination you knew was somewhere along these jagged
slopes.
Heat exhaustion took it's malicious toll on your body, your
lungs felt like they were decaying from all the smog you'd
inhaled. Though all of you would continue to trek upwards,
a simple lack of oxygen and a hot head wouldn't ruin your
pursuit. Mirages of water evaporated as you approached
them, you hadn't even noticed that the peaks of previously
fallen rock had melded into a steady path, winding its
way towards the mouth of the beast- the lair.
You were relieved, or so you thought, as you stepped foot
into the musky cave that reminded you of home. You were
enclosed, cradled by the tepid walls and the sharp stalactites
that dripped from the ceiling like baby mobiles.
All was well, you could feel your conscience fading along with
the worry that someone may find you. The last thing you spotted
was a glimpse of orange. Fire? it did appear like it, however your
stamina was drained. You fell unconscious, only to wake up later
to the smell of earthy tea, and sunlight.

- A tall, elegant kalon is perched in front of you, surrounded by red rock, her face smeared with soot. On her shoulders are two reptilian creatures, faux dragons you think. This is ryoko, the dragon tamer- you've heard stories about her but to be half awake in front of her right now was more than enough to startle you to your senses.
"Why are you heere?" She hisses uneasily, but you don't have the courage to explain.
You can tell the others are watching, their glowing eyes hidden by the sharp shadows of
boulders.
"I came to see if I could help- the corruption has spread further." You entail,
"I heard you have a population problem."
Ryoko nods silently, allowing you to sip the herbal tea. It's not very good, but
you'd rather have a full belly than an empty one. As soon as you're done
she shows you around.
