Regulations

In order to try for a second Warriors you must wait five months after receiving your last warrior and be very active. This means that you must show up three times a week for five months.

You must be registered on CS for a year before applying.

Do not stream future Warrior designs. You may only stream Warriors that already exist.

In the WoI chat box, there is only to be polite discussion. There is to be no yelling. No fighting. Do not gossip about other communities.

Before any pair can have a little of pups, they must be mates for at least five months.

What are the Warriors of Isket
The Warriors of Isket are large, Irish Wolfhound sized wolves who right against the horse and reptile chimera known as the Kronadors. Their signature figure is their unique armors.

The History of the Warriors of Isket
The Warriors live in the beautiful land of Isket, but Isket is without peace. The Warriors take part in a struggle lasting centuries with the horse and reptile chimera known as the Kronadors. The Warriors and Kronadors are in a constant battle, each side seeking to rule Isket; but neither the Warriors or the Kronadors are strong enough to completely eradicate the other.
The land has sense then been divided into two territories; one to the Warriors and the other to the Kronadors. Both territories have their fair share of positives and negatives, the Kronadors always seek to take the Warriors land. It has been this way for many, many years.
Perhaps in the far future, the Warriors will be able to regain the land and defeat the Kronadors once and for all. . .

The History of the Unknown
Long ago there was a group of Warriors who split from the land. They are known simply as 'lost warriors' or 'the Unknown.' Nothing is known about this group, not even the reason for the split.
It is well known that there are Unknown wolves, for often the Warriors find signs and even adopt strange wolves found roaming within their territory. Shockingly, these strange wolves exhibit signs of amnesia. They simply do not remember their lives before.

Den Site
The dens, which appear to be normal caves, are really entrances to a long series of rooms and tunnels. The den-site itself was chosen to be held within a high, barren mountain range. The rusty-red mountains were formed from a plethora of special minerals that keep the stone from easily eroding away. The location of the mountains themselves makes it easy to spot and fend off intruders.

Earning Armor
Armor is very important to the Warriors, it decides their ranks.
Deep in the old Isket forest laid a large cave. Within this cave lay armors created long ago by the humans who once roamed the land. Only the Warriors know the way to this cave, and it is the mission of every rank candidate to find the cave to receive their own special armor. The trials to the armor cave are full of danger, many rank candidates have died trying to reach the cave.

Trainee Armor
The teenies start with an wooden training armor and wear it until they become an Rank candidate.


Guidelines to Bulky Warrior Armor
For Warriors in direct combat with a Kronadors. They need their armor to fulfill these requirements to cover their vitals:
1) Helmet to protect the skull.
2) Back plates to cover the spine, starting from the base of the skull down the the base of the tail.
3) Shoulder plates to protect not just the shoulders but the collar bone and neck.
4) Chest plate to protect the sternum and ribs.
5) Side plates, these go on the sides of the wolf's body, They are usually connected to the back plate somehow and secured near the girth area with chain or thick leather straps.
6) Leg guards, what is most important is the ability to stay functional, and how you do that is stay mobile so you can live to fight another day, so protect them legs! and make sure no movement is hindered.

Guidelines to Light Scout Armor
For warriors in indirect combat with a Kronadors. They need almost the same, except less bulk and lighter materials built more for speed and agility:
1) Helmet
2) Back plate, usually smaller, covering just the back itself and not the neck.
3) Chest plate, if in any case they are attacked.
4) Side plates, are not mandatory but recommended.
5) Leg guards, leg guards, leg guards; But! make sure they don't obstruct movement!

Tips For Armor
1) Back plates need to be segmented, any solid back plate will not allow movement and is thus deemed useless and not allowed.
2) Leg guards needs to allow movement of all the joints, meaning no covering elbows, wrists, or paw joints unless you can create an idea that allows movement like the traditional knight armor's did.
3) Do not make any other piece of your armor clash with another in movement.
4) Males need masculine armor. Females need feminine armor.

The Enemy; Kronadors

1) They only come in the colors of Isket.
2) Red/Brown Kronadors are rare - only 1 in 100.
3) They do not have special powers or defences, they just have their teeth, claws, and tough skin.
4) Usually you need 3 novice WoI's to take one adult Kronador down, one experienced WoI can take down a young Kronador by itself.

The Kronadors attack with teeth and claw, for they do not have any special powers. They use their horns to pierce the body and their teeth to split bone. Their tail is also a deadly weapon. In their attempts to kill a WoI, they first try to destroy the armor. The kronadors are not known to be very intelligent, but their leader is. The leader is not a force easily stopped, he his bigger, stronger, and more aggressive than all the WoI and 10 kronadors together. He is a true beast.

Question and Answers

Can I buy a Warrior of Isket
No, WoI are released nearly monthly in an best-fitting-application adoption. You can not buy one.

Can I create my own?
No. TheWolfsgirl90 no longer allows customs unless special permission is granted or an event occurs.

How many can I adopt?
How many Warriors that you are able to adopt depends on your website permissions. Staff are allowed more, but the average member is allowed only two warriors.

Why are their two application types for adoption?
Originally, the form required both art and a story. However, It has come to the attention of the community that not everyone is a strong writer or artist. To remedy this, there is separate forms for those who are better and writing and those who are better at artwork.

Why are Work In Progress applications no longer allowed?
It saddens the community to see half finished forms for adoption. For far to long there were more WIP forms than complete forms. So, WIP forms are no longer allowed.

Can I pretty-up my application?
Yes, you and formation your application to appear fancy, but you are not to add extra slots to the application unless it is stated otherwise on the adoption page.

I understand that there is an artwork limit, but I made more than the maximum. Can I use it to pretty-up my application?
No.

What does Isket look like?
Isket in comprised of blue-grasslands, white rivers, red mountains, and lush blue forests. Isket is shrouded in the dark of night more than the light of day. The only seasons in Isket is the freezing winter, mild spring, and scorching summer.

What other creatures live on Isket?
There are Flainers, they are large deer-like creatures that are only active at night. They are prey for Kronadors and Warriors.
The Tingers, small rabbit-like beasts who are only active during the day. They are also prey for the Kronadors and Warriors.
Finally, there are the Butterbirds. They are yellow or white birds. They are the helpers of the shaman and companion to the warriors. They are poisonous to the Warriors.

What is the job of an educator?
Educator is a rank restricted to female WoI. It is their task to look after the pups until they become trainees. What they do is very much like babysitting.

What is the job of an Instructor?
The instructor functions a lot like a school teacher. Guiding trainees in the basics of warrior life, teaching and enforcing rules. They are not the same as mentors.

What is the job of a mentor?
A mentor is a WoI who is already ranked and is teaching an apprentice/rank candidate in their field (scout/warrior/prey hunter). A mentor is in charge of training an apprentice/rank candidate until they get their official rank at 2 years old.

When does a WoI get their armor?
In the beginning, WoI use a wooden training armor. This is until they become a rank candidate when they travel to find their own armor. WoI do not begin to find their true armor until they have completed their basic training at 1.5 Years.
