Hey guys, hopping on real quick to give you guys a bew prompt. I'm really sorry about not posting week 3/4 results. I'm having eye issues and had a scare earlier so it's just not best fir me to be on a screen rn, so I'll get everyones results when I can.

i said on the main thread i found a signature rotator, so i put a tutorial here for anyone who needs it. keywords are rotator, rotating image, signature rotator, yellow paint, flipper.


what is it?
a signature rotator / a rotating image is an image that changes every time you refresh the page.
i believe it's possible to have something that changes every few seconds, but i'm unsure of how to do it and if it would lag the page.


what does it look like?
this is mine, that i'm putting my jars for the arboretum in.



every time you refresh, a different jar will show. i have three jar images that rotate in there.


how do you get one?
first, you go onto this site wnd make an account on it.
you don't need to put any personal information in it, like email or name, this is just so only you can edit the rotator. i did my cs user and pass.
warning— the site is really sketchy.

next, you'll see ten or so boxes where you put the links for the images you want to rotate. there are a lot of spaces for them, but if you need more i believe it says a way you can. put the links for the images, or jars, you want into them.

if you want a jar / another image from cs, the forum code is included in the image. for example, a arboretum jar's code is like this:

however, the code for it links back to the arboretum topic in which it was posted, which won't work. you need just the link in the image code boxes:

and then, of course, get rid of the [.img][./img] code boxes:

so it links back to tubla's photobucket where the images are stored.

finally, click the blue link at the top for your rotator. to put it in a signature, use just the [.img][/.img] code boxes- not the URL.

alternatively, you can make the entire an image that links back to the arboretum by doing

i typed week five out, it was a really long story about this miner in the gold rush who found jewels (like my jar) but when i want to a new page to check my facts it deleted itself and i didn't feel like typing it out again :'(

If you could have any spring themed item/jar, what would it be? Why? Describe the item/jar.

Okay so!! I actually have a sort of jar I picked up from a street fair once, and there's this little see-saw made of cut branches?? It's so cute. They used like a half circle bit of branch to glue a plank on, and cut two like,,, slices?? of branch to use as the seats. It doesn't move, because it's just glued there, but I think it's adorable. I'd imagine a spring themed jar to be like,,, Okay like spring gets associated with plants, but these are like. All plants. But spring is also when you can go outside again instead of being stuck inside all winter?? So imagine like a tiny playground jar (: I bet you could make a little swing set out of some twigs, twine, and bits of branch, too. I'm no good at describing things, though?? So?? I'm gonna draw it :U
