history> Feyre's father, Cassian Valentina, was an
astrologist who lived in Europe before moving to
America. He fell in love with a woman who was
the goddess Athena. Cassian loved the goddess,
so much so you could say he was blinded by it. The
last time he heard from Athena was when a baby
girl appeared on his doorstep. There was a short
letter from Athena telling Cassian the girl was
his daughter. He welcomed the baby into his life
and named her Feyre.
Years passed and Feyre grew up. Her father had
married a bubbly woman named Holly Millard
after seeing that Feyre would need a mother
figure in her life. Though that was far from
the case. Feyre was independent from a young
age and never really built a connection with
Holly. The relationship between Cassian and
Holly didn't last and they split up when Feyre
was 7. Women came in and out of her life,
some of them mean and spiteful, but thankfully
none of them stayed for long. Strange occurrences
followed them around as they moved from state
to state every year. One day, the monsters
caught up to them. On a rainy day, Cassian was
killed by a harpy while he and Feyre were
living in their home in a rural area of New
York City. All alone, Feyre found the items left
for her by her mother and the letter telling her
what she was and where to go. With her shield,
sword, and directions, she made the solo journey
to Camp Half-Blood when she was 10.
