History She grew up in a pretty well-off family. He father was in the military and her mother was a doctor. Her father was away most of the time so she really became close to her mother. She’s actually mixed race and, even though she looks more like her father (white), she got some criticism growing up since she lived in ‘one of those neighborhoods’. She did have quite a few friends, however, and lived to play with them. Like every mother girl, she loved jewelry. But not because of the way they looked with her dress. She was obsessed with the gems. She would study them and draw pictures, coloring them with as much realism as humanly possible. She bought countless books on gems; where to find them, how to dig them up and how to properly identify them. She begged her mother to take her to the gorge on the edge of her town to search for shiny rocks that possibly were crystals. She never found any but she always had hope. She had numerous grow your own crystal set and even has one now. She can’t wait to graduate and get out into the field.
