Distanced from the busy cities, and dare I say civilisation, is a
small town, a town known to its small population as Esben. Its the kind of place where
after staying there for a month or so, you can enter the local café and ask for
"the usual" and the barista will know everyone's 'usual'. it also means that word spreads
fast among the town-folk who know each-other well, and that's pretty much all of the
inhabitants of Esben.
The Town is small, set far in the mountain valleys, its quite hidden away, but its position
on the map isn't the only thing which is secretive. Esben has managed to develop itself
quite the history, but its not one many will know. Their history is tightly preserved by
the elders who were raised here, but there's not many of them left, and the greatest
part of their history, the towns 'secret' is only known by few. With modern development
and increase in population secrets of such are growing harder to keep hidden, and the
secret habitants of Esben are getting into risk of the dark souls who know of them.
So maybe you are one of the average members of Esben, or maybe you've arrived
here for a reason, do you know the secret? Are you a secret? or are you looking
for the secret? whatever your purpose in this town is, you've arrived here and
I wish you luck and a warm welcoming in our little town, Esben.

Strengths: Rena is swift and has good
reflexes. She is able to outrun most people
and is also skilled in archery. With her
abilities, she's a formidable opponent
as well.
Weaknesses: Xirena is pretty unapologetic
and blunt, often brushing off people even
though she doesn't have to. Despite her
speed, she is also not very strong, and is
therefore not very good when it comes
to close combat.

Power: Light
She can create a small amount of light and
some objects, which is how how she makes
weapons if she needs them, like a bow and arrows.
Appearance: Xirena has fair skin and sharp,
dark purple eyes. Her hair is ash brown,
and she is often clothed in dark grey or
black. She stands at five feet six inches.
Personality: Most of the time, she keeps a
calm and straight face, not showing much
emotion. Rena is also a bit of a strategist, figuring
out the best and most efficient way to do things.
She doesn't like wasting time and gets straight to
the point whenever talking. When first meeting
someone, she will not trust very easily.
Background: Rena was born and raised in
Esben, though she one day wanted to go and
see the real world. Being so young, she made
the mistake of showing her powers. People
went after her, but she managed to escape
back to Esben. Then, she vowed to never
trust others with her secret.

Kira didn't know of her powers until she was 14
years old. She was being chased by a gang of boys
from her school when they were suddenly scared
away by a huge black panther. She didn't know of
her change until she arrived home that night,
unable to change back to human. she was stuck as a
panther for a few days before she worked out how to
change back. Her mother knew what it was, but they
were too far away from Esben for them to take her.
She made contact with people before she told Kira
about Esben, and when she would be old enough,
she would be sent there. Until then she had to
learn to hide her power to keep her safe. Who
knows what else her secret could unlock?

Actualy you've reminded me about a rule I forgot to add for a 5 sentence minimum, but I'm quite ruthless when it comes to who joins my threads, and I've learnt that forms tell a lot, if I see someone's form as rather suspicious when it comes to quality of writing I check their posts on other threads they are part of, and indeed if they are a quick sentence I don't accept them (which usually ends in utter shock ) so there should be no worries when it comes to posting quality written work, characters on the other hand follow a similar rule, if someone makes four quality characters I'm happy for them to have those four, if the characters are made by force to make as many as possible I also don't accept them. I hope that explains everything! ^.^
