- Eurus [yes named after the East Wind] is what's known as a demi-primodial god as her father is Erebus [the primodial god of dark-ness]. She lost her mother after her third birthday to a "car crash" where she then went to camp-half blood where Chiron raised her.
It wasn't until she was thirteen that she was claimed by Nyx but has continued to stay in the Hermes cabin. The same night she was claimed, Nyx came to her in her sleep and told her that she wasn't a child of Nyx but in fact was the daughter of the primordial god Erebus. Eurus was then told to keep her true heritage a secret as the Olympians may view her as much of a threat as the children of the Big Three.
