Peony's favorite piece of prey is a simple
hare. She enjoys the lean meat and little
to no fat that hares have, she often says the
meat is simply the best, clean and savory.

Peony loves kits and wishes to have her own
though she wouldn't say that out loud due to
her rank and the common belief that medicine
cats shouldn't have kits of their own.

Appearance + Build
Peony is slightly smaller than average
with a thin and very feminine frame,
her head reaches just about chin height
on average toms and is only one ear lenght
shorter than average faes. Her pelt is
very well kept and she has a bit of
muscle tone despite being a simple
medicine cat.

Personality
Peony is easy going and what some may say
a warm spirit. She never goes based off of
first impressions and firmly believes that everyone
should at 3 chances to right their wrongs. She
isn't the type of cat to have her feelings hurt easily
and despite being a medicine cat isn't afraid to
lash out with claws instead of words. Peony is
brilliant with herbs, often preferring to combine
herbs for better results rather than go by what
moons and generations of medicine cats before her
have always done. She firmly believes that new things
are to be tried and if they don't work as planned
tweak a few things and try again. This female is very
sweet and doesn't mind acting as a therapist for
cats whom's woes herbs won't ease. She is very strict
with her herbs and is careful to have them meticulously
organized and out of reach of little kits. Aside from her
work Peony is a faithful and devote she cat who is slightly
saddened with her talent in herbs, she wishes to have
kits of her own and wouldn't mind doing so if she could
keep is secret long enough. Peony knows how to keep
a secret and can harbor more than she lets on. She is quite
blunt that she feels the warrior code and medicine
code need amending and will happily speak her mind
and fight her case when the time arises. Peony isn't
particularly liked by Starclan due to her criticism of
the codes and Peony isn't exactly fond of the ancestors
either, though she does firmly believe in them. She
keeps her beliefs to herself as to not spark controversy
within the clan about the topic.

History
Peonypool was actually born to a kittypet with 4 siblings,
she was the odd one out but didn't really care nor mind.
Her siblings fit right in with the softer lives of kittypets,
she often things they just appreciated to assured security
of food and stability. Peony however had a taste for adventure
even as a young kit. She was outside more than her siblings
and seemed to have a knack for hunting and exploring. Eventually
she and her siblings outgrew their first two-leg home and were
sold to other two-legs, Peony didn't care for the soft life
she could have lead and ultimately ran away at roughly
7 moons of age. She found herself alone, ill-prepared, and
hungry. She was taken in by an elderly loner who taught her
how to hunt but mainly how to use herbs. This is when Peony
found her first love in the life of medicine and healing.
A few moons in and the elderly feline passed away. Peony was
a young adult left crushed by the death of her companion,
she was taken in by the clan and originally trained to be a
warrior until they learned of her talents with herbs and
promptly swapped her path of training. She didn't mind
the change as she knows the best of both words, Peony isn't
a defenseless Medicine cat and knows a few key battle moves
and how to hunt, skills she feels every cat should know
regardless of their ranking. Since then Peony has been a
devoted Medicine cat and one of her life goals is to find a
way to make the natural growth of herbs more stable and
reliable moon after moon.

Ｅｘｔｒａｓ ｖ． ＩＩ

Peony doesn't believe in the medicine cat code
and would happily take on a mate in secrecy
from the clan. She feels no ties to the code
and puts her happiness above the code at times.

Peony loves to explore and often times will
go on 'herb gathering trips' alone but will
instead be hunting or simply exploring
stretches of the territory she otherwise wouldn't.

She has a slight distaste for other female cats.
