Shifting, even partial, seems pretty interesting!

Like being able to get a bear's shoulder muscles for a nasty bite, or the floof of a winter bird for warmth! Seems like a fun thing even if it isn't going to be a full transformation, just because of all the possibilities! I play a few shapeshifty chars, so it's a fun lil ability to experiment with! Sorry if I'm preaching something you know, I'm just excited to see how someone else writes it!

Mishka the Scout

“ SOMETIMES I WANT TO HIDE LIKE THE MOON HID BEHIND CLOUDS”

Mishka is a rather quiet wolf, and prefers to blend in with the background and tends to fade out of conversation easily. She is very friendly and likes being friends with everyone, but others may mistake her for rude or self-centered because she prefers to stay out of crowds. She is always there to listen and try to understand, and is extremely loyal to her pack mates. When it comes to best friends, she is ready to protect them and support them through anything. Even if it means turning away from the rest of the pack. She rarely causes trouble and doesn't like physical fights as she is not very muscular, but rather slender and agile.

• background// came from a small family, her mother died due to hunters, and her father was killed in an accident. All her siblings moved on from her family.
I was born in a small family, consisting of just my mother, father, and two brothers. My family wasn't part of any pack, as we wanted to create our own. Unfortunately, no other wolves have decided to join us as they believed the 'pack' was not properly run or protected. We soon gave up and decided to live as a small stray nomad clan, constantly on the move.

As me and my brothers grew older, we decided to question what we wanted to do with our lives. I have always been fascinated by medicine and rituals, as my mother was a healer. My brother therefore, didn't seem like he wanted to grow up, or be any use to the pack at all. My other brother, however, had large plans. He wanted to be the Alpha one day, and he was serious about it. He soon left without looking back, and I haven't seen him since.

One day, we wandered too close to the human's camp. They thought of us as a threat, even though we were just passing by. Before long, they started firing at us with large guns. They were only meant to scare us away, not actually hit us, but one bullet has unfortunately went right through my mothers back leg. Unable to hunt or properly protect herself, her wound quickly got infected and she died in her sleep a few days later.

My father's death was a lot more resent. He has died when the earth burst into flames. He was sleeping in one of the dens and was buried alive under ash and dust. Only me, and my brother survived.

We ran away in search of a pack this time, as we both agreed that the loner life was not for us. We traveled for days, until we finally stumbled upon this pack. After staying here for only a couple of months my brother suddenly turned around and left without telling anybody. I miss him to this day.

Mishka is useless when it comes to physical fights, hunting or protecting the pack from predators as she is not very muscular and simply too kind to cause harm to anyone. But, she is very slender and agile. Her childhood nickname was 'the rabbit' because of how quick she was on her feet, and how suddenly she could turn around and disappear from view.
She has a deep, fluffy coat which keeps her warm during harsh winters, but she sheds it during summer. She has large, kind brown eyes.

Mishka defiantly prefers the quiet to noise, as she is quite quiet herself. She suffers from insomnia, so she stays up most of the night and sleeps half of the day. At these times, she is usually the only one awake so she would go on walks alone and admire the moons and stars.

Mishka is rather patient and doesn't have many dislikes, but wolves that think that the world revolves around them can really flip her off.

Mostly her fears have sprung after her mothers death, and most fears are around the topic of hunters and gunshots.

accepted! her ability is fine just so long as it doesn't hugely and drastically affect certain areas in the role-play like battles, etc.
