● [ Premise ] ●
Your character awakens to find themselves in a strange forest they don't recognize. Here the trees grow tall with untouched age, a hazy mist seems omnipresent wherever you go, and any sign of civilization is not to be found. All fellow inhabitants are, like you, foreigners who awoke one day with no memory nor sign of how they arrived.

● [ Plot ] ●
The inhabitants of the Forest awake there suddenly and are left to survive the wilderness, whether or not they know how. The plot develops as alliances and enemies form between strangers with all sorts of intentions.

Weather, Seasons, and mysterious Events, all recorded under the World Status, help drive the story forward. Strange beasts may roam the land, unusual weather patterns may wield droughts and floods at their will, or mysterious ruins may appear suddenly overnight. This world has an intelligence of its own, and it does with itself what it wants.

The mystery of the Forest is NOT intended to be the main focus. Rather, plot(s) should develop through character interaction. However, mystery and adventure will be there to keep things interesting, for those who wish to pursue it.

Character Design Rules

● [ General ] ●

○ Tess's rules apply.
○ You can have as many characters as you can handle, but can only have 3 New Arrivals at a time
(the rest must be Known before you can introduce another)
○ You may Withdraw any character as long as they are not currently involved in RP (notify me).
○ 'Side-characters' never present without a main Character do not count as separate OCs
(such as a summoned familiar, non-speaking pet, etc).
○ Post length does not matter, but please keep multiple characters' actions in one post (to prevent
post spam) and use proper grammer (or advanced stylized grammar).
○ Disable signatures on this thread if large.
○ Do not use colors or fonts that are difficult to read.
○ OOC on this RP thread must be relevant to things happening IC (no OOC conversations)
○ Please keep to the IC time.
○ NPCs controlled by Soulsplosion during a temporary Event do not count as character slots.

Include the following in all of your RP posts:

○ Add 'Open' in the tags if you are looking for someone to interact with
○ You may add any other information necessary.

● [ First Post ] ●

Your character may arrive in the forest in any way that they cannot return home,
such as: Waking here with no memory, getting lost while exploring, irreparable
shipwreck, etc. Your first post does not have to start with them arriving, and you
may assume they've already been here a few days or so. They may not realize it.
Animals that naturally live in the forest may consider it entirely normal.

● [ Character Interactions ] ●

○ Do not take control of another character's actions without their owner's consent.
○ Do not injure or interfere with another character without their owner's consent.
(Use terms like "would", "could", "tried to", etc. in combat).
○ Do not powerplay--have weaknesses and react realistically.
○ Your character may not constantly be the focus of attention.
○ Do not reveal things about characters without their owner's consent.
○ Do not reveal things about your characters that were not previously implied OOC
(don't keep secret plot twists).

● [ Special Actions ] ●

You must have permission to do any of the following
(either from Soulsplosion or a majority of the active roleplayers involved):
○ Start a major world event (forest fire, etc)
○ Create, Change, or Remove a mapped Location
○ Resurrect a character
○ Discover something new regarding the mysteries of the Forest
Some of these may be granted by default due to an Event.
Things already described by me on these official threads may be discovered at any time.

-> The big noodle was floating casually somewhere within the forest, the precise location of which he couldn't exactly say. He had awoken earlier amidst an unfamiliar landscape of bushes and trees, and though he didn't recognize any of them, the traveling hobo dragon was not the least bit concerned as much as he was slightly befuddled.
-> He looked up at the light filtering through branches above him, and then at something else as he slowly floated around weightlessly, not really seeming to care what particular direction he faced (or even if he was rightside-up). "Yep," he said to a small creature that flitted around him in the air, a peculiar being consisting of mostly shadows lead by a featureless white mask. "I have no idea where we are, V." V, in turn, made a curious chattering sound, matched by a pattern of light that flickered on his mask in a grid-like pattern. The only other sounds that surrounded them were that of the birds which sang the song of a normal day, and the light trickles of the streamwater flowing past a few meters downhill.
