With her ears alert, Tinysong hadn't been able to pick up the sound of pawsteps following after Hazelfall and herself, the she-cat looking at her clanmate with a grin. However, as she heard a familiar voice call out, the she-cat came to a sudden halt and turned her head to see the familiar, fluffy young warrior she had trained with when they had both been apprentices. A purr broke from her throat, and she flicked her tail happily, waiting for the tom to catch up. "Hey Droppedjaw! I see you've woken up, come to join us for hunting have you? Welcome to the patrol." she purred, eyes closing. Out of all the cats in the clan, she probably felt more at ease with these two, seeing as they were all similar in age. "You're just in time, too. We're about to have a friendly hunting competition. You can be part of it, too, if you'd like." she offered, before looking to Hazelfall, giving a slight tilt of her head, questioning and curiosity in her gaze.

"He can join us, right Hazelfall?" she asked him with a smile, knowing the answer was probably a yes anyway. "We'd be able to hunt more prey...and we'd even be able to get further away from camp!" seeing as they had one more cat with them, she didn't see why they couldn't. After all, they had been told to stay close for the fact it had only been Hazelfall and herself...but now that Droppedjaw had joined them, they could get more ground away from the camp. Not only that, but the competition that she and Hazelfall had been about to do would be much more fun with three cats...if she won, she'd have a pick of prey...as would the others, if one of the toms managed to win.

The blue-grey she-cat couldn't help but purr in slight amusement at Vixenbriar's words - perhaps her kittens would be arriving soon...and in turn, it would be the start of the heap of kits to be expected. As the expectant queen leaned against her gently, the younger she-cat smiled, seeing the slight embarrassment. "I'm sure whatever's up, Spiritstep and Palepaw will be able to help. Perhaps your kits will arrive and you wont have to carry them about so much. she purred, and once she was ready, she slowly went to head outside the den, staying by the side of the other queen in case she still needed her support - Rainstep didn't mind, anything to help one of her denmates. On her way out, she glanced back at Willowtail and Yellowriver before getting out of the den.

Once outside, she saw the cats had gathered into small groups - these were likely the patrols. Looking about, Rainstep spotted both the medicine cat and his apprentice, they were by Ivystar's den with the leader himself, as well as one of the apprentices Mintpaw. "It looks like they might be leaving camp too...Come on, lucky we caught them before they did leave." Otherwise they'd have to send one of the apprentices staying after them, if something had happened to the other queen. It seemed as if whatever the four other cats were talking about was somewhat important, and while the she-cat hoped they weren't interrupting, this was a rather important matter. She knew that Ivystar would understand that, too.

Gender;; male | Rank;; medicine cat | Scent;; herbs and moss | Words;; 485| Tagged;; IvyStar, MintPaw, PalePaw, VixenBriar, RainStep|

xxxSpiritStep had nodded as his leader spoke of MistyPaw's training. The she-cat was a tricky one who he related to greatly. He knew some of the clan found the she-cat to be more of a let down when it came to her progress in training. SpiritStep was one of the few who acknowledged that MistyPaw had the potential to become one of their best warriors. He'd seen it before, the quiet watchers he learn faster by seeing rather than doing. He believed that any day now MistyPaw would blossom and shock every member of the clan. Speaking of Apprentices, he watched as PalePaw approached with MintPaw in tow. He tilted his head and listened to what they had to say intently; they were short on dock it would seem and he sighed of course they were. SnakeSnarl had showed up in the den two days ago with a rash on his side that was stealing away his fur. A thick application of chewed dock had been applied to the area to resolve the issue; it should of occurred to him to inform his apprentice about the shortage sooner.

xxxAs IvyStar spoke he nodded in agreement, yes having all four of them go would provide a good opportunity to knock out three birds with one stone. A small lingering smile of pride fell across his face as IvyStar spoke of his apprentice, he probably read into it but as far as he was concerned the implication was that PalePaw was truly becoming a medicine cat not just an apprentice. "That sounds like a good.. idea-" His voice faded out as he noticed two cats approaching the group. VixenBriar with RainStep as an escort. The look on the queens face was what caused him to pause, it was familiar and unsettling. He'd seen that pained and confused expression before, on the kitting mothers or dying warriors. With a snap reaction his fur bristled as a million thoughts were quickly queried and answered in his mind. As his fur began to rest his gaze fell softly upon PalePaw, "I will need you to leave without me and fetch the dock and some agarikon by yourselves." He paused moving his gaze to address the group as a whole. "You should also stop by the open field south of the fallen branch and retrieve some bilberries from the rocky section of the field. Fresher berries are more effective then the dried ones we have in storage."

xxxTurning around he ushered RainStep and VixenBriar away towards the medicine cat den. He took up position beside the queen, on the opposite side to RainStep. Glancing over the shoulder of the queen he signalled towards RobinFrost. "Please go retrieve RobinFrost, I'll need her help," he stated calmly. Without waiting for a reply he began leading the queen towards his den. He had a spot prepared for her to rest until her kits came.

Raccontail
Male | 34 | Warrior | Crush | App | Tags; Patrol | Mentions; Swiftflame, Badgerfoot

Raccontail nodded at Swiftflame. The old tom looked back at where the orange and white tabby was looking. There was Badgerfoot, the most flirtatious tom ever known to Starclan. Every time he would even glance at the large tabby tom, there would always be a she-cat near him. Raccontail scoffed at the younger tom, life isn't so long, better live it now then never. Raccontail continued to stare at Badgerfoot with impatience. "Will the tom ever get his paws moving or should we do something?" Raccontail spoke with the slighted of anger.

Cindermist
Female | 34 | Warrior | Crush | App; Driftpaw | Tags; Wolfheart, Driftpaw, Raggedheart, Mistypaw

Cindermist stood and glanced over to the cats Driftpaw was pointing to. "There they are!" She recognized the two clan cats. She never knew Raggedheart would be so late to patrols. She wondered if he over slept. Maybe she could ask them about their tardiness. Turning her head towards her own apprentice and Wolfheart, "Thank you Driftpaw for your helpful eyesight!" She praised the small white cat. Glancing back at her real target she meowed, " I'll go get Raggedheart and Mistypaw, maybe now we can finally get this Border patrol going." With her fluffy tail, Cindermist patted Driftpaw's head and trotted her way towards the two missing patrol cats. Before reaching them, Cindermist looked around her and enjoyed the nice view of cats talking all around her. An activity she often did, and that annoyed many cats. Though she wished she could be more mature and faithful, every bit of her loves her. Focusing back at her main target, Cindermist mewed at the grey, tabby tom. "Raggedheart!" Getting a foxtail length closer, she stopped a tail length away. "Raggedheart, Mistypaw! Why have you not joined our patrol yet? Everyone is waiting on you!" She tried to sound angry but deep down she couldn't yell or get angry at any cat.

Without waiting for a response she continued talking, "If you had something else planned," Cindermist lowered her head and tail in a submissive way, "It'll totally fine, just tell me before leaving so sudden." She felt like a mouse standing in front of a giant dog. Such a pathetic thing to do, she could've just asked him normally then just getting in such a different persona than she was. Cindermist had yet to learn that she could never get angry or be mean.

SILVERSTORM
Gender: She-Cat • Age: Thirty-six moons • Rank: Deputy • Mate/Crush: none • Apprentice: Weaselpaw • Tags: Raccoontail, Swiftflame, Badgerfoot •
_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Silverstorm looked up at the sun, and she decided that it was more than time to go. She stood up and shook her long pelt,
eyes narrowing at the prospect of what they may find at the border. Flicking her tail as the signal to leave, she walked silently out of the camp, seemingly floating on her light feet. She didn't look back; she expected her patrol was behind her, equally as ready as she was. The quiet she-cat took in a breath of the cold air blowing at her, unfazed by the bleak territory they lived in. Her mind wandered to the cats on her patrol; she had chosen they specifically for this job.
She'd always wondered if Swiftflame had wanted the position of deputy before she had been chosen. Being the son of a previous leader, one might think he would have wanted to carry on in his father's pawprints. Silverstorm herself hadn't particularly been aiming to become deputy, it just kind of happened, and she did her duty, whatever Ivystar expected of her, and this case that was being ColdClan's deputy.
Badgerfoot was a strange tom to her, she didn't understand the constant flirting with she-cats, as it hadn't gotten him anywhere so far. He hadn't tried anything with her, but she wasn't surprised at that; most cats seemed hesitant to talk to her, and she wasn't sure why.
And Silverstorm just couldn't figure out Raccoontail. He seemed to always be in his head, thinking about something he wasn't saying. He was close to Cindermist, his sister, but not really anyone else.
The pretty she-cat shook her head, it wasn't the time to be dissecting the personalities in her patrol. It was time to see if there was indeed a badger lurking around their border, and if there was, it had to go.

WOLFHEART
Gender: She-Cat • Age: Thirty-five moons • Rank: Warrior • Mate/Crush: none • Apprentice: none • Tags: Badgerfoot, CIndermist, Raggedheart, Driftpaw, Mistypaw •
_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Wolfheart sighed inwardly, somewhat distracted now by the thought of Badgerfoot. Her patrol was still establishing itself,
and she wanted nothing more than to stop thinking about that stupid tom and get going. She didn't want Badgerfoot on her mind,
that's exactly what he wanted! Yet, she couldn't seem to help it, perhaps there was more to him then met the eye? She found it hard to believe he could go through everyday life just flirting with every she-cat and not ever feeling lonely because he didn't have a mate to call his own. That wasn't her issue though, and she once again tried to think of something else. Cindermist had approached Raggedheart and Mistypaw, and she was glad to see her trying to assert authority over the patrol.

HAZELFALL
Gender: Tom • Age: Fourteen moons • Rank: Warrior • Crush: Tinysong • Apprentice: none • Tags: Tinysong, Droppedjaw •
_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hazelfall was loving life running beside Tinysong, until he heard the clampering of Droppedjaw behind them. He narrowed his eyes slightly, he hoped neither of them noticed. Hazelfall couldn't help but see the other tom as a threat for Tinysong's affections. Droppedjaw was also similar in age to them, and although he knew that Tinysong didn't belong to him in any means,
he still wanted a chance with her, and anything that might compromise that chance he saw as a threat. But as quickly as his eyes narrowed, he tried to soften them, and greeted the tom politely, "Yeah, you can join us Droppedjaw. We'll probably have to go deeper into the forest, the running might have scared the prey off." He turned tail and slunk away, moving through the bushes,
"But I'm still going to get first-catch!"

the ginger she-cat smiled at ivystar's response, lifting her head a bit in pride. she heard the chatter of two queens emerging from the den. her eyes fell on vixenbriar and her face of discomfort. halting, she turned back to spiritstep as he began to speak. with a concerned look, she agreed to his wishes. he really wouldn't need her help? she recalled helping him before, and doing pretty well for not learning much about it prior. but, palepaw knew they would need the herbs, there was no doubt about that. as she began to leave the camp she turned to see if mintpaw would follow. "you'd be a big help if you came along," she said with a smile. she hoped the whole situation hadn't freaked the other apprentice out, because admittedly, it startled her a bit. she quickly got over it, and began leaving the camp.

her eyes searched the forest, the first thing they came upon was the fallen branch. carefully, she collected the agarikon and set it down on a small dirt patch. scanning the forest again, she approached a wilting beech tree, and snagged a large leaf from the lower branches. placing the leaf down, she scooped up the agarikon and placed it down on the leaf. carefully folding it up with her paws she placed the make-shift herb carrier in her mouth and went back on her way.

foxpaw nodded to the other apprentice and let out a sigh of disappointment. he stood up and stretched, he always hated being stuck with taking care of the bedding. his ears stood as he watched vixenbriar get lead into the medicine cat's den,
he guessed they really needed new bedding now. as willowtail entered back into the queen's den, he turned back to weaselpaw.
"i guess we should try n' find some moss, huh?" he said, seeing as new kits would be here soon.

raggedheart sighed and shook his head. "you are a smart young she-cat, you need to learn how to use your size to your advantage." he explained. he knew his apprentice had great potential, she just didn't see it. he had seen mistypaw struggle with this for quite sometime, he just didn't know how to approach it. his ears flicked as cindermist approached and they were called to the patrol. the tom's hair raised a bit as he turned to the she-cat. "i apologize," he said, quickly settling. "i'll be taking mistypaw out for a bit of sparring today." he said, motioning his tail to his apprentice. the tom was often forgetful, and often quite the over sleeper, but he wasn't always like that, not in his youth. he sighed and smiled at the younger she-cat.

"we should be going, though." the tom commented. his voice had gotten a bit rattly with age. he began to walk out of the camp, motioning for his apprentice to follow. he glanced over his shoulder, "you're an excellent hunter, you're quiet, swift, and know the surroundings. you can use all of this to your advantage while fighting." he explained as they came upon the training grounds. he stood across from her and narrowed his eyes. "i may be bigger than you, but you can most definitely over power me, because i can't move as fast as you." he said.

"have faith in yourself, try and take me down." he instructed, placing his paws into the soft ground.

ooc: so so so sorry foxpaw's post is so short?? i lost inspiration after a minute in))

    >> tom • sixty moons • leader (6 lives) • no apprentice • no crush/mate • tags;; spiritstep, palepaw, mintpaw, queens
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________
The leader patiently listened as Spiritstep spoke, although his attention was also drawn away as the two queens came towards the group. He flicked his ears slightly as the medicine cat spoke...so it seemed Vixenbriar's kits were close to arriving. The tom quietly told the medicine cat that he'd make sure nothing happened to his apprentice while they were out, as he might as well still go. After all, he had no reason to stay here...he was sure the medicine cat could deal with this. The tabby exchanged a quick glance with Rainstep, a previous apprentice of his own, before the two of them went with Spiritstep. He could only sigh, hoping everything would go alright for the queen, and that her kits would turn out healthy.

He then turned his attention back to the apprentices. Seeing that Palepaw was doing as she was told made the leader sure that she was good at listening to her orders, seeing as Spiritstep sent her out for herbs instead of staying to help with Vixenbriar. He sat there in silence, still, and only flicking an ear as Palepaw left to go get the herbs, wanting to take Mintpaw along. The tabby originally wanted to go along in order to see how the apprentice was with herbs...it'd also be mouse-brained to allow the apprentices to head off by themselves. Especially, since as Silverstorm had said, there was a badger about. While the leader was sure that if it was still around that the patrol would catch it, he didn't want two young cats going out by themselves...they didn't know if the badger was further into their territory. And if it was, what would happened if Palepaw and Mintpaw ran into it?

Ivystar had no reason to sit here and wait for the new kits to arrive, going to follow the way the two she-cats had gone. He traveled slowly, taking his time, although soon caught up to Palepaw, seeing the cat carrying the agarikon. He watched quietly before letting it be known that he, too, had followed. "I decided to come along...can't have you two wondering about with a badger on the loose in our territory. Not that I doubt Mintpaw's training." he meowed, eyes going to look about...he didn't scent the rabbit Spiritstep had spoken of, perhaps it had gone back to its burrow. "But I can also help with carrying herbs or whatever you need, Palepaw." he told the medicine cat apprentice, a soft smile on his muzzle.

The tom snorted slightly at Raccoontail's words, looking at his fellow warrior. "He'll follow. He knows that his warrior duties come before his games...hopefully." he added the last part a bit quietly, before seeing that Silverstorm was beginning to head towards the entrance of camp. "Either way, lets get going. The badger won't wait around in one spot forever." he told the slightly younger cat, before going to follow their tabby pelted deputy. Swiftflame didn't look towards Weaselpaw and Foxpaw as he left, hoping the two would work together in order to get their tasks all done on time. For now, he had to worry about the current task. Perhaps the badger had moved off their territory...could they risk getting into any sort of fight with a creature such as a badger?

Walking by the deputy, he noticed her shaking her head and after a moment of silence, not looking behind them to see if the rest of the patrol was following, he spoke. "Is there something on your mind, Silverstorm?" he questioned, not looking away. While he did find it a bit hard to completely trust her as of yet, he knew he didn't hate the she-cat or anything - she was a valuable clanmate. "How does it feel to be deputy?" although she already had been deputy for a while...he found it easier to get along with the she-cat than he would with other outsiders, seeing as she did mentor his younger brother.

The she-cat didn't notice the change in Hazelfall's expression, purring as he said it was alright for the bigger warrior to join them. The she-cat was usually this oblivious anyway, so it was no wonder she didn't notice. She then watched as Hazelfall padded into the bushes, and she grinned. "Not if I get the first catch." she insisted, giving Droppedjaw a flick of the tail to follow before following her denmate in order to go deeper into ColdClan territory. The she-cat scented the air as they moved along, keeping alert for any prey she might scent nearby...but of course, no surprise, any prey near them had already been scared off. The black and white cat began to think that perhaps they shouldn't have ran out of camp like they had...oh well, not like they could go back and restart or anything.

After they had traveled for a bit, she caught the scent of prey about. It seemed as if the prey was coming out of their burrows, and scenting mice nearby, she cast her eyes to the two toms. "I'm gonna go head this way, I scent some mice. Looks like I'll be getting the first catch...unless you two can pick up your game." she purred in a joking matter, before quietly stalking off, following the scent. Thankfully, it wasn't all that far away, and she soon came across what happened to be a nest of mice. However, it appeared they had burrowed by a tree, and it was too tight for her to fit even her paws through. The young cat decided to wait it out, settling down beside the tree in a crouch. She could hear activity going on from the mice, and knew that sooner or later, they'd come out. That's when she'd pounce.

The she-cat was relieved that Spiritstep had spotted them first before they had to get into the conversation themselves, in order to get the medicine cats attention. The tom acted quickly, and the blue-grey she-cat was rather glad that he did, not wanting to see Vixenbriar get any worse. At the toms words, she gave a nod, leaving Vixenbriar's side and looking at the tabby queen. "I'll be back with Robinfrost as soon as I can." she meowed, before the queen made her way to the elders den. Her belly did slow her down, but the she-cat pushed herself to get there, and going to where the calico elder was grooming her pelt, and soaking up the sun that would start to warm up the camp soon, she hoped.

"Robinfrost, Spiritstep needs you. Vixenbriar's kits might be coming soon." she told the elder, who looked up in interest. The other two elders inside the den seemed to be paying attention as well, and Rainstep heard Berrysplash mutter a snarky remark, although unheard to her own ears. She ignored it for now, before looking back to the elder who was needed. "Spiritstep needs your help." she added rather quietly, and now that she thought about it, the queen felt rather exposed out here...the sooner she was done, the sooner she could relax and sit off her paws. These kits weren't making it any easier to walk.

The tom noted how disappointed Foxpaw seemed to be...so the dark ginger tabby figured he'd try to act as cheery as possible, despite being disappointed himself. Perhaps his mood would rub off on the other apprentice. "Yeah, lets go get some moss! I know some grows by the creek right by camp - that'll be the easiest for us to get. And if these kits arrive soon, we'll need the closest moss." the young apprentice whipped his tail around before turning to go head out of camp. Having seen the medicine cat with the queen, he couldn't help but wonder what the tiny kits would be like...

How many would there be? What would they look like? So many questions ran through the young toms mind. Would he be able to play with them once they were old enough? Probably not, seeing as he was already an apprentice...Perhaps if he worked hard enough, he might get to mentor one of the new kits. Although the more Weaselpaw thought about it, he figured that would be near impossible, seeing as he'd still be too young to have an apprentice by then. At least if he was a mentor, he wouldn't make his apprentice do all the boring chores around camp. Their days would be filled with fun and training, getting stronger for the clan.

Leaving the entrance of camp, he failed to look behind him to see if Foxpaw was following, instead going straight for the creek, which luckily for them wasn't all that far. It was only once he reached the creek, did the dark ginger tabby look about to see if Foxpaw had managed to keep up, or had even followed...perhaps he shouldn't have dashed off as he did. The tom really needed to stop the habit of going ahead of everyone else...

Drawing her paw over her whiskers, the elder looked up in interest as Rainstep headed over. At her words, the calico gave a slight nod and got to her paws, ignoring the snarky remark that came from within the elders den. "Of course. Lets go then, Rainstep." she told the blue-grey queen, giving the fluffy cat a nudge on the way over. Kits would sure be a good addition to the clan - sure, they had Talonkit and Meadowkit, but soon the two would be ready to become apprentices. Having a lot of younger kits would prove her stories to be useful...and it would be a lot more cute faces to look at. Being around kits often reminded her of the time she spent with her only son, Larkstrike, when he had been a kit. As well as when Larkstrike had his own kits, Swiftflame and Weaselpaw. The two had been very cute kittens, as had most other cats born in the clan - she had seen a good majority of the cats in the clan grow up within the clan walls.

Getting to where she was needed, Rainstep behind her, the elder looked to the medicine cat and flicked her ears. "I'm here to help, Spiritstep." she told the cat, then looking at Vixenbriar to see how the queen was doing. Although what she said next was also directed at Spiritstep. "What will you have me do?" she questioned, ears flicking as she noticed Rainstep watching on. The queen was unsure if she should stay, or if the medicine cat and queen would rather she leave them be in peace.

𝚋𝚊𝚍𝚐𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚘𝚘𝚝

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx• tom // warrior // tags; racoontail (ment.) / swiftflame (ment.) / mintpaw (ment.) // location; w/ patrol // ooc;

Badgerfoot glanced at the patrol; the cats were barely awake and surprised to be selected for a patrol. What do you expect with half asleep cats? Most of the cats had just managed to trudge out the dens though, so it wasn't like the warriors were entirely bombarded with the thought of a patrol. Many enjoyed the patrol; a quiet walk to embrace your thoughts. But Badgerfoot didn't like having nothing to do other than mingle in your own thoughts. It put him on edge. Obviously, you were meant to look around for abnormal activity during patrols - but it was only to bare occasion if something ever happened. It could be the distant drift of a badger of fox; maybe the blood of a bird of prey. But it was never really anything.

He glanced back up and noticed the stare of Raccoontail. He had definitely zoned out to think about the patrol; but it could not of been for a long time. He stared right back at Raccoontail before standing. He hated the stare of disapproval - it reminded him of his father. And even though the tom was just an apprentice when Badgerfoot was born, he still felt the resemblance between Racoontails stare and his fathers. He huffed as he trudged past him.

He had heard Swiftflames words and rolled his eyes at the older tom, but nonetheless mingled around the camp. He would follow the camp from behind. He may of wanted to not sit in his thoughts, yet staying behind would cause less cats to notice him. And at this moment of time, with quite the few cats staring at him disapprovingly, he didn't want to bring attention. If anything, he just wanted to go back and sit down, maybe train with his apprentice.

She definitely needed more training to improve during the four more moons until she was classified as a warrior. Badgerfoot had always wondered if her enthusiasm would remain as she aged, or she'd let the negativity of the cats get to her and wreck her enthusiasm. He wished he'd never see that day where she'd crack.

He had noticed the slight glance of Swiftflame but it was not as angered as Raccoontails impatient one. He had never really talked to her, so he had never gotten the chance to flirt. Flirting didn't mean he was interested despite what many of the cats thought.
He just wanted to seem confident like his father had told him to be.

        { sorry if i missed any interactions between a cat and badgerfoot. many people mentioned him. }

She watched his reply and huffed in negativity. She hated fighting and sometimes wondered why she hadn't attempted to embark upon the Medicine Cat career; yet she knew medicine and healing was never her forte. After being offered to join the patrol, Mistypaw got excited on avoiding hunting. But obviously, Raggedheart had different plans.

Before she knew it, they were alone and he was attempting to make her take him down. Honestly, any cat of her size would been intimidated by a cat of his size; and in her eyes, they'd be mad to even consider fighting the tom. She may of been quick and swift yet he could easily bat her with a tail and she'd stumble.

The young she did not wish to disobey her mentor however; and got into position. He was definitely diving for her weaknesses as he tried to make her have first move; where as she was considerably better at dodging attacks than inflicting them. "Please, can you just take the first move?" she asked.

The queen leaned against the tabby as he lead her towards his den, watch in with apprehension as Rainstep scurried off to fetch one of the elders, Robinfrost if she had heard correctly (unlikely). A mewl raked through her throat as another surge of pain went through her back and belly, and she stumbled through the entrance of the den before her legs gavw out, spilling orange fur onto the den floor. Despite all the emotions she felt, she couldn't help the scrunchinf of her nose at the rancid smell of herbs and mixtures. "I don't know how you stand this smell Spiritstep, I'd almost rather go back outside," Vixen scoffed, tail flicking viciously behind her.

Anxious thoughts clawed at her throat, more than just the worry of a first time mother. What if they didn't make it? What if she was a terrible mother? How could she raise little ones when she didn't know how to help herself? Flexing her paws out, she sunk her claws into the earthy ground, trembling slightly. "So doc, does this mean I'm gonna have a few gremlins of my own soon? My back is killing me, so for my sake please say yes," the words came out slightly mumbled, but she looked him in the eye as she said them, a rare sign of respect for the queen.

Robinfrost and Rainstep's scents permeated the thick herb cloud, relaxing the she a little bit. More familiar scents to her than Spiritstep, she immensely appreciated the distraction from the anxiety causing reality. "At least I'm a little prepared, huh guys? I've already got three names picked out for these buggers."

His lips turned up into a strange looking smile at Tinysong's greeting, though the meaning was still the same. A two-tone tail swung up behind him as he cantered to the two warriors he'd trained with. Pale yellow caught sight of a slight change in Hazelfall's expression, but he couldn't really place what it was. Perhaps he couldn't tell who he was from further away? "Thanks for letting me join you both, Tinysong, Hazelfall," he mewed, lightly nudging each of them with his broad shoulders.

A quiet purr escaped his chest at the thought of a competition, though he'd probably let one of the other two win no matter what, or at least let them have first pick anyways. "Sounds like a challenge!" The three traveled a little ways, their trail marked by the quiet paw prints and crinkled leaves beneath them, accented by the ocassional tail lines. When they began to catch whiff of prey scents in the air, they split apart, Droppedjaw trailing to the right after a vole scent near a little off stream. The Maine Coon fell to the ground, slinking quietly towards the stream, watching the little vole drink and wash from the stream. His haunches swept behind him as be pounced, legs propelling himself onto the creature, biting and scratching.

When it slipped from under him and ran off a bit, the tom sprinted after it, back leg barely touching the ground. After a good few minutes of chase, he landed a hard blow on the top of the creatures head, stunning it enough to get a bite into it's neck, holding until he was sure he'd been the Victor this time.

Sighing happily, he gathered up the catch in his jaws, before taking a look around. He'd gone quite far from the other two, far enough that it'd take a while to get back. Oh well, he didn't care about winning anyhow.

Quietheart
|| She-cat | 22 Moons | Warrior | Apprentice: None | Crush: None Yet | Location: Forest | Tags: Open ||

Sunlight filtered through the trees above as the grey she-cat made her way through the white snow that covered the ground. 'Hopefully with greenleaf here, the snow should thin up some and prey will be more willing to come out.' Quietheart thought to herself as three fish hung from her mouth, where she held onto the tails between her teeth. The warrior had finished hunting at the big river that went through the territory which usually had a good supply of fish. Her paws were wet and cold from the river and coldness but she didn't really mind too much, being used to the feeling.

The she-cat spotted a few figures of cats kind of in the distance off in one direction but didn't stress on it too much. Quietheart assumed it was some clan mates of hers and kept her slow but steady pace forward. Her grey tail glazing over the snow here and there while her green eyes kept checking her surroundings just in case there was a predator or any danger lurking about. The grey cat felt pretty happy about how much fish she had caught for her clan and wondered if everyone had something to eat today or not. 'If not there at least there will be some nice fresh fish for them to eat.' She concluded her thought and flicked an ear as a bird chirped from somewhere.

Raccontail
Male | 34 | Warrior | Crush | App | Tags; Swiftflame | Mentions; Swiftflame, Silverstorm, Badgerfoot, Wolfheart

Nodding to Swiftflame, Raccontail followed behind him,"Of course," He spoke and continued his concentration from his clanmates to the cold forest around him. The season was turning warmer but the snow wouldn't completely melt, maybe only an inch or two of snow would be here this Greenleaf. Maybe starclan would do them good this season, or destory them like last season. Raccontail shook his thin furred head, he smelled an added cat scent, Badgerfoot. 'So the slow cat finally decided to do his duties? Huh, this cat's faster than some.' He snorted while his eyes and ears wondered around the near by noises and plants. Raccontail ignored Swiftflame and Silverstorm's chat, and focused on the very silent tom behind him. He never though a coquettish cat would be so quiet and into his thoughts. A possible she-cat in his mind.

Cindermist
Female | 34 | Warrior | Crush | App; Driftpaw | Tags; Patrol

Cindermist stood there dumbfounded. 'Ok Cindermist they went their so now turn around guide your patrol to the border.
You can do this!
'
With a deep breath, Cindermist walked back to her patrol. The two young cat waiting impatiently, "Let's head off, if the scent on our borders seem weak then we'll mark," The she cat spoke in a slight authority. She walked out the south side of the camp. The opposite way the badger patrol had went. Cindermist head towards the nearest borderline which quite a walk away but nothing to brutal. The fluffy she cat glanced behind her a few times before pushing through the cold breeze. Now is the chance to prove she is a strong cat, today she will make this patrol successful. With a long heated breath, Cindermist smelled and looked ahead for the familiar borderline.
