the moss rocks - where wolves most co
mmonly get moss. the moss grows on l
arge boulders that are there. usually, p

rocks.

burnt heart - some of the taiga was bu

quiet trees - it gets a little muddy ther
e, since the mud never goes away. it i
s absolutely quiet ; no prey or predato
rs there. wolves usually come here an

hunter's territory - it is absolutely forb
idden to travel there. commonly, hum
ans go and camp out there. they are u
sually hunting, a wolf or a deer. some
wolves never managed to escape that
territory.

Brown doe eyes opened and closed several as the white tan wolf awakened into the world. Alert to the world the brute licked his lips instinctively before stretching out on the ground; paws scraping against hard rock. Hard rock? Had the brute fallen asleep outside of his nest again? Eyes looked around him with tired ease. He had fallen asleep outside his nest, for shame. Standing up onto sore legs Muru instantly regretted his choice he made of bedding last night. Star gazing and preying to his spirit guide had kept him from and early night. His spiritual stubbornness had prevailed only long enough to get him to his den. Once inside he had laid onto, what at the time, had been a comfortable cold and smooth stone floor.

Nosing his way further into his den, his tail wagged at the site of numerous herbs piled upon each other in neat stacks. He always guarded his herbs with great valour, they were his life blood after all. Dainty twitches of his nose could be seen as he counted his herbs. Chamomile, Alder Bark, foxglove, garlic, ginseng, lavender, mallow, oregano; really he had all of the possible herbs! A shocked look crossed his face and his lip curled into a sneer as he noticed he was lacking peppermint. That sneer grew as he recognised that he was completely out of tumeric. "Stars above" he groaned turning tale to leave the den in search of the missing herbs.

He recalled that the herbs he needed were all situated along the north side of the quiet trees. Giving his body one last stretch he chapped his lips and trotted out of his den and into the dull light of the morning. His head turned to the sky he took note of the sunrises hue; Beautiful. He paid no head to the members of the pack who may have been awake, he had a job to do! After leaving the camp he walked with dainty steps towards the quiet trees, tail high as he went. Approaching quiet trees he put his cleanliness aside and made his way onto the muddy grounds. He let out the slightest whimper as he felt the thick mud seep into his light coloured fur.

Sniffing the air he followed his memory to the location of the peppermint and began plucking stems from the herb. Ears sat alert as he made out the sound of paws moving in the distance. Instantly he dropped the herbs and took a defensive position. "Who goes there" he warned tail stiff in defensive warning.
