❝ｓｔｒｅｅｔ ｓｗｅｅｔ ｓｔｒｅｅｔ❞
A wet cardboard box lay beside the busy road. Just looking upon it for a second depressed the coldest of hearts. It didn’t help when rain poured from the dark grey clouds, soaking the box some more. The flashing city lights surrounded the discouraging scene, making it the perfect picture of sadness. Cars darted by, each threatening to crush the cardboard under the wheels, though they hadn’t a clue what they were doing. Many people hurried past, suitcases in hand, not giving this water-logged box a second glance. Not even when they heard a faint and miserable cry calling from the flimsy package.
