once king valafyre of the navys kingdom went missing after breaking
through the desolate land of adhiné, his sole heir to throne, the prin
ce, was left with the duty to rescue his warrior father from the curse
d land which seeped and reeked with the foul scent of eldritch ritual
s to ancient gods that mortal minds should never even remember ─.

with his trusted companion, a demoness, the prince discovered his r
eportedly deceased father's journal, written years before his disappe
arance on adhinéan soil. he tells of a "queen" that has condemned th
e adhiné kingdom ever since the royal family built their castle on for
idden prayers to long-forgotten eldritch gods, and that this "queen"
needs to be slain before she "wraps her tentacles on our empire". wi
the help of a young saint and his sorceress guardian, the prince sou
ght for the aid of two more entities described in his father's journal,
instrumental to slay the "queen": an outraged, grieving god of winte
r from another world, and the mad princess of navys who was thoug
ht to have died. with this, the prince and his comrades came to plea
for their helping hand as the queen waits in silence... ──────────

the navys kingdom is the largest empire on the aegea supercontinent. it is home to mortals and mystical creatures of great number. on the prince's twentieth birthday, the kingdom was infiltrated by a wave of dark, unholy manifestations of an eldritch being that stinks of ritual sacrifice. these creatures, called wardaemons, have failed from trespassing into the kingdom, held off for three years by the prince, a demoness, and king valafyre's forces. on the fourth year of the never-ending assault, king valafyre and his men discovered the source of the wardaemon... originating from the adhiné kingdom, a darkened empire that festers with prayers and dark sabbaths for a primordial god, a devourer of the light, an eldritch entity called the queen in yellow

trusting his son and the demoness to fend off the wardaemons at the frontlines, the king and his most trusted men ventured into adhinéan soil. three days turned into three weeks, and the prince could bear it no longer, for the king never returned home. distraught, the prince intended to rescue his father alone, until the demoness presented him a journal that the king had written which placed the details of his disappearance

the journal wrote that the queen in yellow has arrived into this world to devour it whole as she had done so to multiple worlds before ours, and that the only way to slay her is with the help of a squadron comprised of a sorcerer, a witch, a god of a different world, and the mad princess of navys. it simply took a call to find the first two, as the prince has befriended a powerful sorcerer and his witch guardian in one of his previous diplomatic missions. finding, or rather, convincing the last two, however, was a different story

through the help of the witch, the group discovered that a grieving god of winter is nestled in the remote ice floes located in the northern section of aegea. with hope in hand, the sorcerer, the witch, and a number of navys soldiers were sent to the arctic lands to entreat the god to fight for this world's cause. on the other hand, the prince and the demoness themselves were trusted to seek the help of the princess of navys — who the prince thought to be deceased — imprisoned in the bowels of the navys castle for her crimes

upon recruiting these two beings, the group started at adhiné, where the queen in yellow — with her tendrils engrained ever so deep within this realm — waits in hunger
