e) did find aspects of coordinating that she enjoyed, she always felt that this a future that he
r mother wants and not entirely something that (name) herself has much passion in. initially
the flying-type specialist did not know what she truly wanted until she saw a tournament cli
p of former champion cynthia in a championship league tournament; this is when she realise
d that her aspirations cannot be found on stage, but on the battlefield. just as she thought, (
name) was rebuked by her mother when she told her of her decision to become a pokemon t
rainer. (name) eventually took to her own path, regardless of what her mother said, and star
ted her long journey as a professional trainer. in this lonesome path, (name) befriended ano
ther aspiring trainer specialising in fire-types; the two grew to become not only close friend
s, but also competitive rivals. unfortunately, they had to separate once the fire-type trainer
returned to unova. in a tearful farewell, the two trainers promised to meet in the future, irr

erages. (name) has a notably tragic background, for his parents perished in an accident at se
a, leaving him the only survivor of the accident. as such, (name) initially developed a fear of
water and by association, water-type pokemon. as he grew older, though, he understood tha
t he must at least attempt to overcome this fear of his by deciding to train water-types, capt
uring his very first pokemon when he was fourteen. ever since then, (name) steadily develop
ed into a remarkably promising trainer, washing every challenger away with his sheer skills a
nd unmatched determination. undefeatable up to this point, it was at (name)'s first internati
ional tournament that he met his match: a fighting-type trainer from the faraway unova. the
20 minute round of the two skilled battlers ended with a tie. after that, they became freque
nt sparring partners, with every match, up until now, ending with a draw. (name) is known fo
r his "high risk, high reward" approach in battling, often taking very head-on and rash tactic
s that leave his opponents with little time to react. despite their differences, (name) cherishe
s the other elites dearly, for they are the closest thing to a family for him. as such, he would

eigns from the antiquated land of celestic town where he spends most of his youth with his f
amily, whose ancient and noble bloodline flows as old as the town itself. after team galactic
's summoning of the legendary creation trio in spear pillar was put to an end, (name) and his
family was tasked with guarding the griseous orb, sendoff spring, and by extension, turnbac
k cave which houses the renegade pokemon and the portal to its home world. in order to fu
lfil his duties as a guardian, (name) was trained at a young age by his grandmother in pokem
on battling, choosing to specialise in ghost-types after befriending one in turnback cave. aft
er a few attempts were made by nefarious organisations to steal the griseous orb, (name) kn
ew that he must become stronger to fulfil his role as a guardian. training day and night, nec
essity turns to passion and (name) grew to become a skilled trainer. because of his lonely un
dertaking as a guardian, (name) finds it difficult to socialise with other people. that's why w
hen a particular dragon-type trainer befriended him, (name) was overcome with joy. the tw
o became so close to one another that they became a couple. unfortunately, due to the disa
pproval from the dragon-type trainer's family of (name)'s occupation, the former had to end
things with him. seeing this as an insult to his lifework, the already socially inept (name) be
came even more reclusive and grew to resent his former partner, vowing to never see him a
gain. outside of the league, (name) is rarely seen in public, making his arrival in unova som
ething that many people, especially the press, are naturally excited for

g. orphaned at a very young age with her two younger siblings on the streets of castelia city,
(name) knew that somehow, she needs to survive through whatever means necessary. she in
itially started pickpocketing, shoplifting, and stealing, but resorted to pokemon battling wh
en she rescued her partner pokemon from the brink of starvation, quickly resonating with it
as, not unlike herself, it was also fighting for survival. (name)'s frequent battles in castelia's
central plaza not only earned her a source of living, but also a friend in one of her spectato
rs: a fairy-type trainer and a convenient resident of castelia city. a perfect instance of oppo
sites attract, (name) was initially reluctant to trust the pastel-clad trainer, but soon came to
enjoy her company and the duo became known across castelia city as a tough opponents in
double battles. unfortunately, their bond ended in a negative note when the two lost a maj
or double battle tournament in driftveil city. the two blamed one another for the loss and e
xchanged searing insults. (name) eventually left the fairy-type trainer alone and returned t
o castelia city with her younger siblings. (name)'s past petty crimes ultimately came to a fu
ll circle when local authorities recognised her in one of her battles and pursued her in a fre
nzy. panicked for both the lives of herself and her siblings, a goose chase ensued in castelia
and ended with (name) boarding a departing cargo ship in one of the city's piers. although s
he did not care where the ship was destined to, (name) was still shocked when it arrived in
canalave city of sinnoh, thousands of miles away from unova. it is here where (name) start
ed her life anew and became one of the most powerful trainers in all of sinnoh. secretly, sh
e always regretted everything she last said to her fairy-type trainer friend, but maybe, this
trip to unova could finally bring light and dispel these feelings of guilt

r hailing from the distant kalos region. growing up with pokemon in his family's estate, (nam
e) found a passion in training and battling at only eight years old. although a bit reluctant to
entertain their son's ambitions, (name)'s parents eventually went through to support his drea
ms. however, coupled with his passion in pokemon battling, the fire-type trainer also found t
he appeal in the entertainment industry, no doubt thanks to both of his parents. as such, (na
me) also took to diving in pokemon coordinating, becoming a well-known contest idol in the
newly-established pokemon coordinating industry in unova to the extent that many claim th
at it is indeed (name)'s performance that revolutionised the pokemon entertainment enterp
rise in unova. due to his parents' occupations, (name) would always find himself traveling to
distant regions; honestly, he's not too into the idea of going abroad, cause he never did stay
in one region for too long to make it meaningful... until, of course, a trip to sinnoh where (
name) met one of his closest friends, a flying-type trainer who discarded her past of pokem
on coordinating to solely focus on battling. sharing much in common and intrigued by her re
solute boldness in training pokemon, it was then a shame that the two had to split ways wh
en (name) returned to unova with the promise that they will meet again in the future. (nam
e) is known for his open-handedness and constant interaction with his extremely large fanba
se. deep down, though, he finds himself stressing a lot about his profession and is quite wor
ried that he is yet to find the balance between his work and personal life, if it exists at all

ame from a long-line family of incredibly powerful psychics; from clairvoyants, fortune read
ers, and telekinetics... incredible psionic traits that (name) herself inherited none of. becau
se of this, (name) is always seen with a different light by her family and became the subject
to many unfair treatment. one day, she attempted to capture a psychic-type pokemon but
was mocked by her cousins, telling her that she's not even worthy to train psychic-types. a
s such, (name) eventually realised that if she's always going to be seen as different, then s
o be it. she eventually chose to break tradition and train fighting-types to the satisfying ho
rror of her family. continuous intense training eventually bore fruit as (name) grew to beco
me the most powerful trainer in her family, besting every single one of them despite the ty
pe disadvantage. in her first international match, (name) eventually met a water-type train
er of sinnoh who then proved to be the toughest challenger she met thus far, eventually lan
ding a tie with her. sharing similar battle strategies, the two trainers quickly resonated with
one another as close friends and competitive rivals. to her many apprentices, (name) is kno
wn to be very supportive but also ruthless in her training, always prizing resilience and refu
sal to surrender above others

o an executive of a shipping empire in unova. despite her father's dreams that, one day, (na
me) would grow up to inherit his seat at the company, she saw no passion in such an idea b
ut saw excitement in pokemon battling, inspired after watching one of former elite four cait
lin's battles on national television. to no one's surprise, (name) was met with a vicious respo
nse from her father when she revealed her desire to become a pokemon trainer to him. tho
ugh at first she believed her father that pokemon training was a waste of time, it was when
he told her that she had no skills nor future in the battling industry that really set her bloo
d boiling. determined to prove him wrong, (name) trained everyday, entering battling semi
nars, and recording and dissecting league battles. in one of her daily trips in castelia city, s
he saw an amateur pokemon battle in the central plaza, with the victor a girl with her dark
-type team. despite being nothing more than a street side spectacle, the dark-type trainer'
s battling style reminded (name) of the ones she regularly watched in league matches. intr
igued by this, the fairy-type trainer became friends with her and her journey to profession
al pokemon training started there. it truly is regrettable that their friendship ended in ruin
s after the two lost in a major double battle tournament, with (name) blaming her battle p
artner of her arrogance that caused the loss. ever since that day, (name) always wish that
she could apologise to her friend for her burning insults, but since she mysteriously disap
peared from all of unova, (name) doesn't really know where to start. little did she know...

undoubtedly the most skilled member of the unova league's elite four. despite his tall, intim
idating, and domineering appearance, (name) is particularly kind-hearted, a classic gentle g
iant if you will. just like former elite four caitlin, (name) is not a native of unova and instead
he reigns from the distant land of the sinnoh region. he doesn't really like to expose much of
his past, for it is surrounded by... questionable motives. (name), along with his family, was o
nce part of team void before their disbandment, an offshoot of team galactic which aimed t
o bring forth the renegade pokemon, giratina of the distortion world in order to unmake arc
eus' creations. in their attempt to summon giratina, many incursions have been made to ste
al the heavily-guarded griseous orb in order to awaken it to the fullest extent of its power i
n our plane of existence. however, such attempts have all but failed and the orb remained i
n the hands of its guardians. due to this, a new plan was concocted where (name), as one o
f the younger members of team void, was tasked to befriend the next heir to the guardians
hip of giratina, a trainer of ghost-types reigning from celestic town, and later gain his trust
to trick him and acquire the griseous orb for team void. (name) determinately followed thr
ugh with the plan and grew close to this particular guardian. much to the dismay of team v
oid however, (name) felt genuine emotions toward the ghost-type trainer, and so did he in r
eturn. the two became an unexpected couple, but (name) knew that at this point, he can n
ever betray his partner as per his initial plans. as such, (name) chose to break things off wi
th him under the pretence of disapproving parents. devastated by his choice, (name) finall
y chose to not only leave his partner but also team void and sinnoh in its entirety. in his no
w lonesome journey, (name) took the talents that he naturally had in pokemon battling an
d invested his time and energy in it like never before, making him a formidable trainer ski
lled in the ancient arts of dragon pokemon training to the extent that he was eventually s
couted by the unova league committee. (name) is famed for adopting battling strategies o
f olden times related to dragon-type battles. a highly challenging, resourceful, and knowle
dgeable opponent, it is a popular saying among the league that even losing to (name) cons
titutes an achievement in and of itself
