Tucked away in some secluded corner of Europe, there towers an
ancient stone castle, full of more rooms and doors and secrets th-
an you could ever imagine. The ivy-covered walls are known coll-
ectively as the Castle Lovell. The land that it resides over is, for
the most part, drab and grey, but there are a few select spots wh-
ere you might find impressive gardens or groves full of color. The
current ruler of this land and of this Castle, is Queen Lilith, the y-
oung vampire (or at least, young by vampire standards).

The Castle Lovell has a history and a reputation as the pinnacle of
horror, murder, and the supernatural. There are whispers around
the Village of Lovell that this castle houses everything from angels
and demons to reanimated corpses, and they say that the former
king was murdered within those walls. Any person in their right m-
ind would be too terrified to set foot within those halls.

Perhaps this means that you are not entirely in your right mind.

[The Grey Stuff]

This is a brief recap of what happened during Season One. You do not have to have been in Season One to participate in Season Two! Reading this should catch you up. This is the very meat of it, though I’ve left out a lot of the details.

The Castle Lovell used to be ruled by a vampire king, Yeong-Suk. However, an unfortunate string of events led him to be murdered by an evil shape-shifting bird named Evanna, a woman who can take the form of a human or an eagle when she so desires. All of her exact motives remain unclear, but in the end Evanna was killed, torn to shreds by a reanimated corpse named Cordelia. Evanna was dead… or so everyone thought.

As it turned out, the shape-shifter could hop from body to body, and in this case, she hopped into the royal bookkeeper Avis’s mind to preserve herself. Before Evanna had revealed herself to be a murderer, she and Avis had shared a close bond, a bond that Avis is now paying for as his soul and everything that makes him himself deteriorates under her grip.

Using Avis as her new body, Evanna confronted Darcy (the castle’s resident mad scientist, and the one responsible for creating Cordelia) with a request… or rather, a demand and a threat. She wanted him to create for her a new body, custom-made to certain specifications. After some physical and figurative arm-twisting he agreed, mainly to stall for time and to keep her from hurting anyone else.

The Castle Lovell required a new ruler, and so the vampire Lilith was coronated as Queen. The fact that Evanna is alive remains, for the time being, unbeknownst to the new Queen, but her royal advisor, Vixen, is well-aware, as is Lilith's handmaiden Chole. The problem remains that no one may harm Evanna without harming her host body, which most of the time, is Avis.

Lilith was bitten by Yeong-Suk as a young child, and so for a long time her immortal vampire form was trapped in the body of a child. However, the angel Michelangelo was able to grant her an adult body, and this has helped her to establish her rule.

The villagers, commoners, and castle servants are oblivious to most of the details, but people still talk, whispers travel, and rumors get around.

This is going to be the main plot for Season Two, although people are welcome to add their own little subplots as long as they PM me about it first.

It has been about a year since Lilith was coronated. The courtiers are all a year older. The Castle Lovell has enjoyed relative peace over the past months; however, darkness has been brewing in secret. Darcy has nearly completed Evanna’s new body, and while Cordelia, like the rest of the Castle, knows nothing of it, she suspects something is amiss in his lab. Meanwhile, Evanna’s grip on Avis’s soul grows tighter. The struggle for control inside his head is ongoing and it is taxing in every way.

These are the threats that remain unseen, but another much more visible threat has now made itself known. The neighboring kingdom of Sirenth, ruled by a crafty and devious King, has threatened to topple Queen Lilith and her court if his demands are not met. He is using blackmail, which he claims he is receiving from a spy in the Queen’s midst. The idea that there could be a traitor amongst them has put the courtiers on edge again, made them wary of each other, and perhaps this is just what the King wanted: to sew the seeds of distrust and destroy them from the inside out.

How will the Queen and her court react to this new threat?

The King has made his move.

law. Whenever she needs something,

Vixen Lucifora // demon // Roselyn
Literally the devil on the Queen's shoulder.
The royal advisor tries to influence the
Queen in the worst ways; the more pain,
death, and destruction, the better. Her
demonic powers also allow her to better
protect her Queen, and she offers counsel
in times of uncertainty.

Michelangelo Paloma // angel // Eagle
The angel on the Queen's shoulder.
The cup bearer is of the utmost
importance and comes with a great
deal of influence. He is responsible
for guarding against any poison in the
Queen's drinks, and is therefore one of
the most trusted members of the court.

Darcy von Eckhardt // human // Teekl
The scientist spends his days creating
nifty new inventions for the Queen to
enjoy, although in his free time, he
tends to pursue less...conventional
projects. Whenever there's a murder,
he becomes the unofficial autopsist.

Cordelia // living corpse // meadow.
The mad scientist's first successful crea-
tion. She sports the same stitched-tog-
ether look of Frankenstein's monster.
With nowhere else to go, she lives in Castle
Lovell.

Every castle that's any castle needs
a good library, and any library that's
any library needs a good librarian to
tend to those books. No one else in
the Castle seems to have time, so the
task falls to the royal bookkeeper.

Chole Noire // naga // witch
A female servant and attendant of
Queen Lilith, this handmaiden is
more than she appears to be; for
not only is she far older than she
looks, but also she possesses powers
and abilities beyond those of a human.

Evanna // wereeagle // Arri
Responsible for the murder of King
Yeong-Suk (and undoubtedly countless
others), Evanna almost single-handedly
thrust the Castle Lovell into chaos
(with a little help from Cordelia of
course). She's quite deadly with those talons.

Luca Volkov // any species // astro
Whereas the mad scientist can handle
maladies of the physical nature, the
courtiers needed someone with a little
more...mental stability to confide in
emotionally and psychologically. This
shrink was hired just under a year ago,
after the horrors had started. The shrink
is not the spy, although eventually the
courtiers will be led to believe so. After
all, the shrink is in a position to learn
everyone's darkest secrets and they've
known him/her for the least amount of
time. It only makes sense.

deals and topple rivals. Whether or
not he knows that he has demon blood
in his veins is up to the roleplayer.

The general is, obviously, in charge
of Sirenth's army. However, he also
has a more covert role to play. He

comprises a part of his inner circle.

Aria Shields // witch // petrichor
The witch, with their powers of divining,
has proved to be a quite useful seer. Not
only do they foretell the future, but they
also know a variety of spells, and know
how to brew numerous potions. (Can be
male or female, don't let the connotations
of a witch being female stop you from
making a male if you want).

Meiling // living doll // Roselyn
A gift from a visiting traveler from
a far off land. Little did the King
know at the time that this was no
ordinary doll. This doll walks and
talks like any human might. She is
made of quite breakable porcelain,
although she is life-sized and has the
form of an adult woman. Very few
people in the King's palace even know
that she is alive; most view her as a
lifeless doll or statue.

The King, savvy to the Castle Lovell's
supernatural nature, has hired a witch-
hunter (slash demon-hunter) and sent
them to the Castle Lovell to wreak
havoc there, be it exploiting the weak-
nesses of the supernatural creatures or
simply trapping them in rooms for long
periods of time. The witch-hunter is
elusive, slippery, and well-versed in the
strengths and weaknesses of the para-
normal. They can sneak around the Castle
relatively undetected.

ᴄᴀᴘᴛᴀɪɴ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ɢᴜᴀʀᴅ

The Captain of the Royal Guard is, as
one might expect, responsible for the
security of the Palace and of the King.
Whereas the General is in charge of
the army, the Captain is in charge of
the guards in the palace, and is tasked
with keeping out intruders and assassins.

Cupid // demon // Amurah
The count(ess) is in the Palace on formal
business when they become swept up in
the drama of blackmail, love, war, and
deception. The count(ess) is highly resp-
ected in the land of Sirenth, and quite
unaccustomed to the nitty-gritty of mur-
der, preferring political intrigue.

Vennet Eviscus // merfolk // Amurah
The clockmaker actually specializes in
creating many beautiful pieces aside
from clocks, but clocks are indeed their
favorite and best works. They have made
so many custom works for the Palace, in
fact, and continue to do so, so that they
have been given a formal invitation to
simply live in the Palace and continue to
work there. Their carvings and clocks are
unparalleled; you couldn't find others like
them in all the land.
