Meet Jared; your typical college student. He grew up in California before graduating, then took a job at a automobile shop to raise money for college, staying out of school for a few years. After finally making enough money, he got into college at twenty-one and is studying to be an engineer. His mother has always looked out for him, but he's really the one who has looked out for her. A sickly woman at forty-five, he grew up taking care of her when she couldn't get out of bed in the morning. He cares so much for her and can't stand to see her suffer.
Jared has always had a passion for music, but doesn't let it show, thinking it's a silly thing to love. Listening is one thing, singing and playing guitar is a whole other thing. The very idea of going to college for music appalled him, so he took the next best thing he was good at: math and creation.
