It started in a laboratory..
No, not a laboratory with scientists bent only on the torture of creatures "lower" than them. Not a laboratory run only by those who seek to become a go or goddess of nature. A laboratory doing it's job, studying for the good of all. This certain little lab was assigned the job of researching a strange genetic mutation throughout a line of wild wolves. Their cages small, but it was for science. It started with one who could run faster than a falcon could fly. Then another family came through, their fur changing with the environment. And another family, and another, until this strange tangled web of mutation was large enough for even the biggest spider, crawling along for an answer to be tangled in the web. Those answers never came, but instead a sudden disease spreading like a rushing wild fire through these wolves. They'd die, no explanation from anyone who examined the bodies. One day, a little seed was found on the floor of one small cage, were one of these strange wolves just died. The young scientist who discovered it planted the seed, and only a few days later, the wolf was alive. The answer made no sense to anyone, no one could figure out why these wolves were suddenly connected to these strange little plants. Some said mother nature was out of control and radiation was causing serious mutations, some claimed that the wolves were other worldly, though some would claim they were magic, a science they couldn't understand. One year later, all these wolfs were happily sheltered in a far off area, almost completely off the map, for safe studying. Everything was given to them, a perfect home, a perfect supply of food, and safety of their plants until it was their time. It was a utopia for them, until their own free will begins to tear them into two fierce packs, strictly against each other.

To the scientists, it was pack west and pack east.
To the wolves, They were pack of silver waters and the pack of golden leaves,

And both search for the magic garden to destroy the lives of the other pack.


The plants


The flowers are a strange magic given to the wolves by an unknown entity. These flowers are the heart, or, make up a new heart for them. Without these plants growing, they die. It was expected for them to not be capture before this "disease" spread, making it easy for the wolves to figure out on their own. However, this was not the case..
Now each one of these wolves are heavily monitored in their fake homes, pups extracted from their mothers after birth, and strange powers coming to these wolves because of the little magic plant. Scienctists grow these strange plants [mostly for study] in a lab only 10 miles off from the home they've picked out and given the wolves. Wolves, without their little plant, they're nothing special. Since wolves aren't able to tell what their plant is from looking at it, they tell by the scent. They always smell like what their plant is.

There is no rule on what type of plant it has to be, only that it is on the small size!
Powers given by the plant should somewhat match the plant [water lilies giving a wolf the ability to walk on water, rose giving a wolf the ability to see others' emotions, etc.], creativity with the powers is encouraged !

If two wolves have the same plant, they don't have to have the same powers!

It started in a laboratory..

The overall territory held by the two packs is bordered by a giant fence of electricity. It's not enough to hurt the wolves, but enough to make them stay in their homes. The territory is a chunk of the hillside, part connecting to a large stream surrounded in boulders and rocks, one covered in aspen trees. These two territories are chopped off roughly in the middle, a border kept up with effort.

The pack of silver waters takes the watery side of the territory. Instead of trees, it is covered in boulders and stones, which make for good homes. Their camp entrance is right on top of the river, making it so you either have to swim or jump the stepping stones to get to it. The stepping stones connect to sun stones, a large stone heated by the sun to make a wonderful place to lay. In the camp, it is mostly compiled of space and moss beds. Only a few wolves get assigned dens, the rest are free to sleep where ever they want on the mossy beds [and even decorate them some]. The alpha den is a boulder that was carved into by erosion and placed in the cave. Moss acts as a shield from sunlight for it, and moss beds are set inside. The medic den and nursery are both carved into the walls, round and long. The medic den has a large pile of moss meant for all the medics, and shelves carved into its walls to make places to set herbs. The nursery is almost completely covered in moss, making it nicer for the Rho of the pack, and their pups.

The pack of golden leaves lives in the many aspen tree forest on the right side of the land. The many trees makes it hard to maneuver sometimes, but they've started to get used to it. Their territory has many hidden tunnels, leading to almost everywhere in their own territory. They tend to use the tunnels more often, as they're easier than trying to run through the trees. A stream runs through their territory, and helps slightly. A little clearing saves them the trouble of trees, and has strawberry bushes lined up against the edges. These berries attract prey, so it's a phenomenal spot to hunt. Their camp is located in a giant fallen tree, hidden from most wolves' sights. The entrance is through a ton of tangled branches, leading to an underground home. The tree acts as the roof and entrance, but most of it is underground. A little dirt staircase leads whoever enters to the dens. The dens are carved into the dirt walls, each one lined with moss beds. 2-3 wolves can sleep in these dens. The leader's den is higher in the walls, accessed by another stair case. The medic den lays on the other side, same deal. There is no nursery den, but Rho tend to take the dens carved behind the stair cases to be a bit more hidden.


Both packs hunt small mammals, like squirrels and mice. Fishing is a common practice for the silver waters pack, but can be done by golden leaves. Both are free of predators [other than themselves], so there is no worry there. Sometimes they're be a large hawk who comes by, making a great meal for them both. There isn't a set type of prey though, so anything small works to have your wolf hunt!
