"What are you talking about little one?" It shook it's head, drawing a wide, flat tongue over the pup. "You speak of sweet nothings. What is it you need. Food? Of course, other creatures need food." It came to a quick conclusion, breezing over her concerns. For the two did not match up. Eating did. "What is it you intake? Fish? Swine? Hm?" It scooped her up, bringing her to it's face. "Kummerspeck is worried. Kummerspeck wants pup to smile."

Amorette laughed at the Captains over all joy. As he aggressively shifted the masts as needed. In his mind he felt as if he was running a sail boat. Such elegance and grace. Durability and endurance. He howled, ecstatic, over-joyed. The A.B.S humored him briefly with joyous cries in return, before pushing the chest with the strong, fairly swift movement of the ship, as it slid it around deck. Taking it back to the quarters on the stern. Humming to herself, sleep took control of hers paw, like strings on a puppet. Down deck she went. The patter of dulled claws echoed against the wood, whilst she made he way to the bunker.

Cybil shuddered as she was licked; it wasn't like her mother cleaning her. She continued to shake and breathe quickly, unable to really speak at the moment. She only shook her head as the creature spoke to her. After a few minutes, Cybil finally spoke. "Milk..." she whimpered, "I need my mom." She slightly curled her lips back to show that she didn't have teeth yet. The thought of starving crossed Cybil's mind which only made her cry more.

Alessa bared her teeth as she heard a thud. She was on edge and wanted both wolves dead. Mary took a deep breath and stood up. "Alessa, we need to get your burns cleaned." she said. Mary thought if she could distract herself with work, she could try to calm down and really think of a plan to get Cybil back. She and Alessa left the room and walked to the OR.

One of Ran's creatures spotted a ship up ahead. The Liefle groaned as she turned sharply, her sails rippling as the wind slammed against them. Ran herself was positioned near the wheel, watching as they sped towards this strange ship in the distance.

Normally, she wouldn't chase after a ship. She liked to remain hidden and avoid conflict. But she was about to go on an expedition. Her creatures were fine when it came to working sails and cleaning the decks, but navigating a jungle was a whole different ordeal. Ran needed someone who could talk to her, someone who could be wary when things got dangerous.

She was nearly in shooting range when her sails shifted and she slowed to a halt. The flag on the quarterdeck fluttered, bearing the Japanese characters for her ships name. The Liefle was slowly inching closer and her creatures had stopped working to display themselves proudly on the deck, looking so strange for having a two-dimensional body made of water color. But no matter which way they turned, they were always facing forward.

"Milk?" It thought for a long hard second. Gazing into the sea of light and darkness. "Any milk?" Her other concerns, worries and fears were minute. "I give you fish milk? Deer milk?" Twirling it's appendages in a spherical motion, a pink female doe sprouted from thin air. Starting off as a light swirl of sparkle, conforming to that of intertwining vines which gradually compressed into the shape and took the pink coloration. She was gently laid down and presented before the pup as food. Her sleep mimicked that of the deceased, but a gradual rise and fall of the belly indicated otherwise.

Amorette had fallen down on her bed and passed out whilst Vojak continued to enjoy himself above. He sailed for long hours over the saves. The wind tugging at sails and freeing his coat. O' natural shedding! It had been long weeks since he had this much fun, back in his normal pleasant state. Just him and the sea. That was all he ever needed. During this lone time he tore the ship about on the seas. Showing no mercy to those on deck. His leg but a distant memory.

"Oh! Look what's that!" Chokka slammed her paw against Mortimers cranium, twisting his head to look away. Purposefully in the direction of a new faring ship. It was strange and colorful. There appeared to be flowing reflections of water, in which took the shape of an assortment of animals.

Directed beyond the point of recoiling, squinting at the arriving ship. It was large and unique. "...." His mind lost for words , and words he'd rather not utter. Coming across from the opposite way. Why would they be as of so absurd to wander into the thunderstorm? What was this lady doing what were these other inhabitants? They didn't look normal. He dis-liked the unique. Why was he every kicked off the ship again? It will forever puzzle him.

"Okay time to go!" Chokka jumped onto the sails as the opposing ship neared. Rigging them a gust of wind picked it up and continued to pull them towards the eventful dangers ahead. She sneered at the serval's frightful cry, telling him to hush up. She wasn't going back on another ship. This freedom was the best to her.

"Hey! No! I don't have a death wish!" As he said before, it seemed he needed to clarify this and launched up after her, struggling to throw the brute down, only to be tossed off and into the ratlines. Finding himself tangled in the thick web of rope, Mortimer let out defenseless cries of frustration.

"I don't have a captive wish! I'm getting away!" In the attempts to glide into the thunderstorm, to Mortimer's luck a wave swiftly redirected the duo, causing a hard unwanted turn away from the foreboding scene.

Cybil kept her ears flattened as the creature offered her milk. She shook her head and turned away from the deer. She wanted her mother and nothing else would be acceptable in her eyes. "I'd rather starve..." she murmured, shutting her eyes. Cybil wanted to go home badly. She shivered in an attempt to get warm. Her gums were getting pale, meaning that she was becoming dehydrated. She curled into a tight little ball.

Mary scowled as the ship roughly rocked. She made Alessa remove her special blouse so she could clean the burns. Alessa sat in a shallow tub as she was drenched, then whined and howled as her burns were cleaned. "I know they're tender..." murmured Mary. She didn't clean them too roughly, but she had to make sure she removed the dead tissue and other debris that got into them. Alessa continued howling, which soon turned to screaming.

Ran wasn't worried about the storm. Her creations were expendable and she could hide under the deck as they did all the work.
All she needed was to grab this - from the looks of it - small crew and leave. The waves seemed to be moving away from the storm anyways, so they had a chance to outrun it.

But just as she thought that, Ran gasped at a wave that rocked her ship and sent the other backwards. The two decks were close now, but not within range where she could cross without a boat. With dark clouds and lighting encroaching, the storm turned foreboding, and her patience ran dry. She had a boat prepared for her as she crossed the deck. Upon entering it, the boat was lowered into the water; color itself had manifested as a snake-like beast with its fangs acting as a hook, and its body becoming like rope. She was placed into the water silently and rowed by two escorts to the other ship.

The same beast which lowered her boat, lifted her onto the other deck. As she was placed there gently, she let out an unearthly cackle. She slashed her tail in the air, leaving a visible cut... the air itself seeming to be gain color. And eyes. And a mouth. And claws. One of her creatures took shape behind her, cackling alongside her, its body illuminated by color. Ran Nanami, a red fox adorned with a mask which hid her eyes and face, turned to the two cats. She stepped forward and exclaimed loudly, "surrender now or fight! A storm's coming and I'm not going to put up with any stupid nonsense!" It was clear in her tone that as her words stated, she wasn't here to discuss anything. She wanted to leave with her new crew "members" as soon as possible.

"Can't have that!" Coiling around the newly made mother, and orphaned pup, Kummerspeck urged her with gentle nudges towards the belly. "Come on. No starving. Starving means bad. Starving means curse." A common and not unusual aspect of these elegant, deceitful creatures. Harmless lies. "Have you ever heard of... No. No need to know. Just eat up, little one." The though of torture, taunt was pushed aside for her better well being. "It'll help us bring them back faster."

♦ ♦ ♦

Inconceivable grumbles poured from the Himalayan's maw, whilst she tossed and turned in the rather comfortable bed. The echo's for cries in which gradually turned to screams reached it's way into her inner thoughts. Adding to the processing of dreams. A mixture of pleasure and fear. Amorette recalled the vocal and howled in return to the ungodly wail.

♣ ♣ ♣ ♣

A quick recollections of the scene. The ship had come to an peaceful stop. Before they knew it an invasion had occured. The bright array of water colors struck Mortimer in awe, Chokka with disgust. A small red fox had stepped foot onto the ship, which was gravely upsetting to the more masculine of the two. She was weird, strange. Better than herself. These creatures were clearly presented as a means of strength and power.

Moritmer sat in silence for moments after being addressed. Jaw peeking open, having enough respect to not let it drop agape. He could feel the acquaintance's stare piercing through the air. "Aye! No questions asked, count me in, just let's go!" Prancing over, the serval pushed against the Captain in attempts to turn her away wanting to leave.

A low snarl cut with a bang of thunder. "Not so fast! This is our ship, you aren't going anywhere!" Moments later claw marks scarred the deck, her eyes blazing with rage, with challenge.

"Ha! You wish! You're not my captain! You're annoying, and unqualified!" Leaning in to the fox he added: "You don't want her! Look at her! She's terrible! She can offer you nothing but pain!" Which in a prospective leaders eyes, her broad shoulders and defined muscles said other wise. She would make a fine addition.

"And you're weak!" It was as if they were alone, she launched at the tall, scrawny male, who dodged and she skidded into the side of the deck. "You're crazy if I'll let you go with... what ever that thing is!" Picking herself up, she launched at him for round two. This time over the canine.

Cybil recoiled at the creature's touch and shook her head. "That's up to Vojak..." she said, "Not my mother or father... they're not in charge. I doubt Vojak will ever let them come back, now that he's gotten the gold from here. He only cares about himself. I know, he hates us." She didn't care about any curse, she wanted her family back. "I won't nurse from anyone except my mother." stated Cybil, "Kill me if you wish, but I won't betray her like that." The pup was a stubborn one; once something entered her head, she would do it.
~~
Alessa kept howling and yelping from her painful bath. Mary stopped as she heard Amorette. She shook her head, feeling no sympathy for her. "May she be haunted by leaving Cybil." said Mary bitterly, "Vojak would've listened to her." She continued with the bath and Alessa continued howling and screaming. Every scrub hurt her. The pup shook in pain as she was finally cleaned.

Ran watched the two in silence. Her creatures stood equally rigid beside her, their skin crawling with reds, greens, and blues.
At last, when she had enough, her voice came quietly on the wind ,"silence. I don't have time for such bickering. Just hurry and come with me before the storm hits." As if by coincidence, a flash lit up the sky followed by thunder - she could hear it now. The storm was much closer.

"Oh, no, no, no. I would never kill you. As for your droopy 'tude, it should brighten up!" In correlation, the serpent lit up it's bio-luminescent points. Giving her a cheery smile. "Drop sorrows and resistance. There are more than us to bring them back. The one you call Vojak is no more than a pain in the back!" It cackled, head falling to the warm stony pebbles. "Eat up, now, Cybil; and time will fly."

♦ ♦ ♦

Amorette after a short while would stop her echoing cries. though never, not once woke from her sleep. It having drained her the last week, with the lack of. She found herself back in a state of bliss. Happiness even more, with her incumbent Captain. Curling up, she reached an leg kicking spot behind her ear. It felt nice.

♣ ♣ ♣ ♣

Chokka found herself into one of the masts, again. Freezing at the clash of lightening and thunder, that wailed through the sky. This canine had something up her sleeve, and her hate was anything but hidden. "You'll have to make me! If you want to take me!" She yowled. Large glides over the deck brought her to the sails, a quick yank on the cables and wind blew them away.

Mortimer paused as well, though showed much less fear over the coincidence. Adrenaline running, pumping. "Just confide! You'll die out there!" He yowled, digging his claws into the deck when the wind shot them across the bumpy sea's. This was not what he wanted! A moment of hesitation, they reached a few feet out, before the serval went over board. Doggy-paddling aggressively towards the row boat. He was not doing this. No, not today!

"Sucks to be you! Go get your fur skinned for a decorative flag! Or you teeth used in a leather necklace!" Chokka would tie down the sails for the wind to have a good grasp on them, before launching off mid-mast towards one of the water-colored creatures.
