The golden and brown wolf wagged her tail more, and twitched her brown ears. Her brown tipped tail then settled down. She let her eyes wander to watch the room a moment. She knew she didn't have to do that, it was their own home. Shaking her head, she lowered her head to the bowl. She delicately lifted the treat, and began to eat that now. She tilted her head as she heard Blue speaking. She barked as if to say they'd find something to do, there were always criminals and such.

The blue-gray eyes reddish brown haired male made a small sound as he noticed that Tom was blushing...at Jack. He sighed and shook his head as he looked away. Tom even said the guy was attractive, so Lio figured he should just back off. At least he knew now that Tom probably wouldn't be single much longer. He probably wouldn't be available to flirt with or anything. This was easier than getting rejected. Shaking his head again, he said "Please don't pet him. He's my service dog, he needs to focus on me. I...could give him a break for a moment, I guess. Dogs like Seeing Eye dogs are allowed to have breaks from their jobs. Their job is different then watching for a panic attack, though. If you really want to pet Moonie, we could go to the park after this for a few minutes and you could play with him."

(for Tom. And I wouldn't do this in real ljfe, guys, don't try and actually pet service dogs in real life. Unless someone is with their seeing eye dog and the harness is off)

He then looked to Jack again, nodding to him. "Yes...he is a working dog." He reached to ruffle the dog's ears. He was allowed to do so. He couldn't distract his own dog. The dog was always focused on him. He hummed a small sound. He then walked with the two. They reached a place with a sign. It see!ed to be called Red Moon. He nodded to himself, then shook his head. He walked in with them. He looked at two other people. One was wearing a cape...He found himself staring. He quickly pulled his gaze away, shaking his head.

He sat down and watched Jack. The food seemed already to have been pre made. He said "I'd rather not..." He meant he didn't want any hot sauce. He then tilted his head. He asked "What...do you not like that guy?" He then listened to him speak to the guy. It surely seemed Jack didn't like him.

The white haired, eared and tailed one made a small sound. They quickly hid their ears and tail, which more than likely looked like the ears and tail went away. They didn't, they were still there. The ears and tail still existed, they just could be hidden. He wondered if the other werewolf could hide his that well. His whole family had this thing. Where their ears and tails had constantly been showing up to a certain age. Then they learned to hide them, but certain things could still make the ears and tail pop out. They shook their head some. They then smiled at him. "Oh, um...if there's any manga here, that would be nice. Otherwise, I like animal books and fantasy stuff, so any of those would be nice to read."

(It's really my own thing, I guess. I got the idea from a YouTuber who has a series in Minecraft and the mod gives wolf ears and tail, and there's also a comic I read that has werewolves (which are like rare in that world because I'm assuming they got hunted or something) and weredogs and stuff, and their ears and tails are always showing)

The blue-green eyed, dark haired one stopped a moment to study the painter. She tilted her head, feeling like she'd seen her a couple times. She nodded and said "It sure is. You're...name is Andromeda, right?" she asked, just to be sure. "I think I've seen you around a couple times," she said. She then shrugged to herself, not entirely sure but she thought so. Shaking her head, she moved to look at the painting. "That's a really nice painting," she said, with a smile that showed her fangs but she knew she didn't need to worry about that.

The reaction was no surprise to Casimir - he knew quite how charming he could be. He also noticed that Alexia hadn't yet paid for her drink. Perhaps she hadn't had any money on her when she ended up here. So, he put some cash on the counter, enough to cover the drink. "On me. That should cover it." Casimir said, and then he nodded. "That's wise. These streets can be rather... well, perhaps not dangerous. But certainly cryptic, at night." he commented, with a rather cryptic tone of voice. He did lighten up, though, as Alexia explained how she ended up here. He waved a hand dismissively..
" No, no. I believe you - we've had a few people end up here with no way of knowing how. Honestly - it's almost expected. So does that mean you don't have anywhere to stay..?"

Casimir turned sharply when he heard a familiar voice. Of course it was Jack. The very opposite of how a typical vampire looked and acted like. He smiled another fang-revealing smile, that was far more strained and fake than usual. "Jack. I was rather hoping you weren't working today. And contrary to popular belief, being invited is one custom I don't adhere to." Casimir replied, and then glanced at the humans that the other vampire had been with. "More lost humans? You spoil me."

That made her feel a little guilty, with the other vampire knowing her name, and yet she could not recall the other's. It was most unlike her, but she had to come clean, of course. "Oh, yes it is. I'm very sorry, though, I cannot recall your name." Andromeda replied. "Although, I'm sure I've seen you around a few times myself. I guess we've not quite had a formal meeting yet." she added, hoping to lighten things. She smiled warmly, at the compliment. "Oh. Thank you. It's not finished yet, of course. I... don't normally paint outside - only when it's like this." Andromeda said. She was not always quite sure about showing others her works - after all, it was mainly something she did for herself - but it was nice to know that others seemed to like them if they did catch sight of them.

Once he'd locked up and finished, Vincent started making his way home. He walked down the street, only really focused on getting home. There wasn't much else that he actually cared about anyway. Himself, home and work.
He stalked through the streets, a hard stare that warded off those that saw him, until he ended up harshly shoulder-checking someone. That jolted him out of his thoughts for just a moment, to turn and see who it was he'd knocked into. "Watch it," he growled. The other person was a human, young woman. The fact that she was a human already gave him a more negative opinion of her. He could smell the scent of sweat off her, strongly, and he knew that she must have been to the gym. Ugh, what was it with humans sticking around here?
Vincent kept walking - he had no time to socialise, especially with a human.

Oh - the ears and tail seemed to disappear. Apparently. It didn't really matter, it was just curious to Jacob.
As the other werewolf answered his question, Jacob mused over how best to answer. There were a few things he could recommend. "Oh - well, manga is just on the upper floor, section 3. There's not a lot, but hopefully it'll be of interest. And fantasy is just over there, in section 4, and then non-fiction animal books are on the other side of the library, section 10." he spoke, gently, a little nervous but clearly knowledgeable.

Tom

Tom smiled when Jack mentioned his tattoo was nice, appreciating the comment on it. " Thank you. " He said, before looking back at the dog. He then got up before taking a step back from the animal so he could give them space. He understood not petting the animal since it was a service animal. " Sorry about that. " He said. He then followed after the two as he was eager to get something in his stomach. Again, he would likely save the energy bar for later tonight or tomorrow for breakfast. As Tom entered the restaurant, he did take it how nice it was. Man, when was the last time he had sat in a restaurant? It certainly had been a while since going out to a higher-end restaurant was something humans couldn't afford.

Sitting down, Tom looked around the restaurant and noticed there were two others there. It seemed not to be that busy but then again, he assumed it was because maybe it was just late. Once Jack set down the bowl of chili in front of him, he couldn't help, but already dig in. It smelled so good and tasted as good as well. " This is so good, and hot sauce is not for me. I would be drinking so much water even if I put a little bit on it. " He said, chuckling softly. The heat was something Tom couldn't do.

Alexia

It was true that she didn't have any money on her so she was thankful the vampire had paid for her drink. " Thank you. I accept it. Unfortunately, I have no money on me as I just woke up here, but if I do get some money, I will certainly pay you back. " She said. The girl felt it was the right thing to do anyway. " Huh, I didn't even know there were other people that have waking up here as well. I thought I was the only one. If so I wonder why I have ended up in this town. And no, I don't have anywhere to stay at all. " She said. She didn't even have money for a hotel so if she did sleep, she would be likely just sleeping on the streets. It certainly didn't sound comfortable at all.

Her attention then went to the other male who had spoken to the vampire. She looked at him, but was quiet for a few minutes, as she didn't want to interrupt their conversation. However, she was confused when he mentioned humans. Thinking about his fangs, could this guy be a vampire that she was talking to? Just the way he called them humans made her think this guy wasn't human at all. " I thought vampires were just made-up stories. " She mostly mumbled to herself, feeling a bit uneasy. She placed a hand on her forehead as she tried to get the thoughts off her mind.

Blue

Blue watched her as she continued to drink her hot coffee. It would surely get her going for the day which is what the girl need. It was likely going to be a long day for the two so she needed all the caffeine she could get. After she was done with the coffee, she rinsed the cup out before setting it down on the sink. She then looked over at the werewolf again before going back on her phone.

Human Appearance: Other than the fangs it's hard to clock Helli as a vampire. She is on the short side with a heavy set build, freckles all over, and tightly permed hair that is held back with a banda or sun hat. Her skin is pale but frequently the parts that are visible are reddish with sun burns, she loves sunny days and it costs her. Her eyes are dark brown but become red when she hasn’t fed for a long time.
Bat Appearance: A larger than usual brown bat with red eyes and a yellow and green polka dot bandana
Personality: When she first came to the town Helli was curt and reserved, though after opening the Apothecary with the bubbly vampire Jamie it seems like she has really started to open up. During work hours she is bright and friendly with her customers, always trying to find ways to improve the business. It’s clear that her long life has taught her a lot and she is more than willing to share as long as she long as it’s on her own terms. If she hates being pressed about personal matters and can very quickly becomes cagy and dismissive, often developing a deep rooted grudge is pushed to far. Helli is not someone you want as an enemy, you don’t get as old as she is without a willingness to get your hands dirty and she will go to great, often expressive, lengths to protect herself and those she cares about. She can be slow to genuinely care about others but once an attachment has been formed Helli is a loyal friend. She cares deeply for those she lets into her heart with a fierceness that will span centuries.
Background: Helli took a long time to adjust to the whole being a vampire thing. She was turned by a close friend who acted in the moment to save her life without really knowing what they were doing till it was too late. It’s not really something she likes to dwell on. Now she works at the Apothacary with another vampire, Jamie Ames, and has begun to feel like she has finally found her place. Her life right now is good, though she has a deep rooted paranoia that it’s not to last.

The golden and brown wolf stopped wagging her tail to instead flick it back and forth. She continued to eat the treat now. She finished that and licked her lips. She then licked at her paws a bit, though they hadn't aided in eating at all. She then sat down and stared at the human for a couple moments. Shaking her head, she stood back up and shook off. She then looked at Blue curiously, as though asking if they'd head now. They really should go to the station, as Blue was a police officer, but she got days off too.

The white haired one vaguely wondered how many others were like them. If there were other werewolves with white hair. They'd been called odd by humans, vampires though vampires knew they weren't human, even other wolves...Their whole family had white hair. They were all white wolves. Shaking their head, they said "Oh, cool." They were about to say they'd go check those out when their belly grumbled. "I, um...should probably eat first, so...would you want to join me? Y-you don't have to, of course. Only if you're hungry too."

The blue-green eyed, dark haired one tilted her head a moment as she looked at the other. She gave a light laugh when the other spoke. "Oh, it's fine, I'm sure not everyone here knows me. My name is Jamie Ames, and I work at an Apothecary and herbalist shop. Me and a woman named Helli run that together," she said. She then smiled at the other a moment. She didn't mind if not everyone knew her name. There was still time for anyone who wanted to to learn her name. Those who didn't, well...that was their loss. She nodded and said "It's very good so far," and smiled again, meaning the painting was very good.

Helli Forester - Vampire - location: The Apothacary - tags: open!

Helli moved to the front of her store, polishing the glass window at the front till it shined. The apothecary was open, but she was currently the only one there during their slow hours. It was quiet without Jamie’s bright presence but at least it gave her time to do some cleaning and restocking. She didn’t mind doing these task, it was the sort of mundane stuff that she found relaxing. So so much had changed over the years, but washing and sorting herbs, that was just as it had alway been. Helli sang as she scrubbed away the scuffs from where customers had absentmindedly touched the glass. Her voice was strong and clear and she let herself get lost in the work. Hopefully there would be some customers in soon.

He'd been expecting some annoyance, since Casimir always drove him up the wall whenever he caught sight of the vampire, but he hadn't seen coming the intense surge of protectiveness, almost possessive, that welled up at the offhand comment about bringing humans to Casimir. Imagining lost, hungry Tom being serenaded by this guy for a sip of blood - it took the playful annoyance he came up intending to be and turned it into legitimate anger.

"Of course vampires aren't real, your new buddy is just a Bela Lugosi cosplayer without the sense God gave to a rodent!" Jack snarled in response to Alexia's concerned vampires are real? with the sincere exasperation of being proven right about Casimir's getup. It was bad, bad practice to wander around town inviting humans to start looking closer at people's teeth and the coldness of their skin. "Drink your cranberry juice, you hack." He said that to the man in question, before leaning in, more quietly. "And stay away from these kids. If I find your teeth anywhere close to Tom or Lio, I will find you."

He went back to the booth the two humans were sitting at and crumpled down on a free seat with a huff. He kind of shrugged apologetically to Lio, in response. "Yeah. Could say that. Bit of an understatement, really. I just- gah! Coming into my workplace and chatting up some lost hum- person! While they're saying they don't have a place to stay or something!" He cut off before he could call them humans out loud - that kind of slip was annoyingly catching - and sighed. "Sorry, sorry. This isn't any of your problem, it just frustrates me."

It was all Casimir could do, holding back a smirk as he knew he struck a nerve with Jack. It was almost too easy. But that didn't mean he was going to stop. He turned towards Alexia, as she made a comment about vampires being real, fully intending to admit that vampires were indeed real, but Jack had answered before he could. Boo. Whatever, he could always reveal the truth later, it wasn't as if Jack would be following him all night to make sure he didn't.

His eyes lit up at the mention of the names of the humans that Jack had brought into the bar. He leaned towards Jack, entirely unbothered by the threat. "You catching feelings for them already, Saint?" Casimir asked, at a hiss, and then he leaned back and downed the rest of the cranberry juice he had, slamming the glass down on the counter. And, just for good measure, Casimir glanced towards where the aforementioned humans, Tom and Lio, were sat, and waved at them with a bright, flirtatious smile.

Finally, Casimir turned his attention back towards Alexia. "Goodness, where were we? Before we were so rudely interrupted..." he said, and thought back to where their conversation had left off. Ahh, yes. "Well, there's plenty of hotels and the like around here. A couple of them might let you stay a few nights for free, given you just woke up here." he suggested. While, sure, he would have plenty of space in his mansion, he didn't quite want a human ending up there, nor for one to find out just how much money he had to spare.

Jamie Ames... Andromeda made a mental note to ensure that she'd remember that. She was quite curious to hear that the other vampire worked at an apothecary - she hadn't been aware that there was one in the town, and it sounded like it had been open for a while. She didn't recognise the other name, Helli, either. "Jamie. Well, perhaps I'll have to visit it sometime. Make sure I still remember." Andromeda replied. Then, turning back towards her painting, she nodded. "Thank you. I should probably finish it... before it ends up getting too dark." she said, and picked up a paintbrush, musing over where to paint next.

He was a little surprised by the offer, and while he was quite grateful for it, Jacob shook his head. "Thank you, but I've still got to get these put away. And my shift isn't quite finished yet. Perhaps another time." he replied. He was a little hungry, but he could easily wait until after work and for when he got home. Still, it was a nice offer. "I'd... better get on. Thanks again, though." Jacob added, gesturing to the trolley of books, and then he started pushing it to the next section.
