Harley started walking with Varias again. "Would you mind company?" He asked, not really hungry, just not wanting to be alone with class let out so early. He also felt a bit shaken still by Dian. Something about the way he had approached Harley made him uncomfortable. He wondered what he would feel if he took a peak in his head. Harley looked up at Varias and offered a small smile. "Thanks by the way, for the warning and the reassurance."

He had quite enjoyed his little get together with Killian, and had afterwards returned to the library to make sure there were no troublemakers messing with his equipment or stealing books
Of course he had no idea why someone would want to steal a book.. maybe they just wanted to mess with him, make him go around the school or county just to get it back
It was more work he didn't feel like doing
He sat at his desk and hummed while reading a book on mechanics as he ran a system scan on himself
For some reason he had been feeling some odd warm fuzzy feeling in his chest, and wondered if something was wrong
Little did he know, he had never felt love before..

He raised an eyebrow and coughed softly while trying to figure out why he was so interested in his powers
But anyways, he tried to answer him to the best of his ability
"Well you see.. I can only manipulate it.." he explained
"Doesn't matter how long.. but.. I can control a whole lot if I practice.."
He chuckled softly and hummed while sitting and smiling at him
"Its why I'm here.. I'm sure its why we're all here.. to get better."

He just smiled.
"Oh sure, feel free to come along. Having someone else to talk to is nice, for a change. Normally I talk to myself."

True, he was alone a lot. Mostly because he had powers no one else seemed to have. Not untill he came here...

Unaware of Maze her frown he walked on.
When he heard her question he stopped.
Hmm... He didn't say what his powers were. Perhaps he should have, it would probably be the most polite thing to do.
All those unwritten social rules...
He thought about her words. Sure, he could show her many things.
But he didn't want to show too much at once. He could start small...
He raised his hand, moving his fingers, but only a little. A glass made of ice appeared, filled with water.
"This is a small example of what can do," he said calmly, slowly turning to look at her.
"I control water and ice. Which is why I can't handle warm weather too well."

She watched in awe as the icy cold glass of water formed from Dian's hand. She'd never seen anything like it and acknowledged the weather around. Quite fitting, she thought as she recalled him ignoring her hand. aw, come on, you just met, he might just need time to trust you.
"Well IceMan, aslong as you don't melt, I think it'll be good to get to know you a little better since you're my first friend here. Also, IceMan is a Top Gun reference but I won't use it if you don't like it" Maze chuckled.

Harley's smile slipped into a bittersweet one, relating to Varias's comment on talking to himself a little too much. He ran a hand through his hair before changing the subject back to the food that would be coming soon. "Did you say you're gonna make the eggs and bacon? Are you allowed to do that?" He wasn't sure of a lot of the rules regarding the campus and he knew if he was home he would never be allowed near the kitchen. "Do you even know how to cook?" Harley meant no ill will towards Varias and wasn't trying to think lesser of him, but he had no frame of reference since he'd never been taught anything about cooking or cleaning. He had been surprised when he got to the rooms at the school and was told that he would be handling all of the cleaning himself. He had no idea where to even start with that, especially after he had been handed a stick with multicolored feathers attached.

A grin appeared on his face. Did he reallt ask if they were allowed to cook?
"Ofcourse not," he answered."We're allowed to make simple things, like a fruitsalad or toast. The good stuff isn't in the kitchen were students come. But most teachers don't care if we make something simple. As long as we clean up."
He smirked. "No worries, I can make bason and eggs. I can't cook, but that I can."
He looked down the hall before turning back to Harley. "Are you up for it?"

Dian raised his eyebrow when Maze called him Iceman.
Top Gun? What was that? He didn't know a lot of movies. His father called them a waste of time.
"Top Gun?" He actually started to feel a little stupid.
"My father let me study a lot," he said, trying to explain his ignorance. "I never read many books and I rarely watch movies. Old habits tend to stick around a lot."
He shrugged a little.
"But if you think it's a fitting nickname for me, feel free to use it. You're the first who actually gave me one."

He sat there thinking, and figuring checking in with Dian was to be in order
He tilted his head and found out where he was, before moving off from his desk to head to Phantom's Class
It wasn't really something he wanted to do.. but.. if Dian was there..
He managed to hang out in the doorway, sitting and watching him with a smile
He was talking with a girl, and without looking at Phantom, slid into the class to join his brother

"Interesting" Donnie said though his tone of voice sounded far less than interested now that he'd obtained the answers he needed. He flinched slightly when Spencer moved for his backpack, reaching for the plastic water bottle half empty with water. "Oh man that's so cool. I wish I had insanely awesome powers like that." Spencer said as she placed the water on the table. "Show me!"

Harley nodded. "Sure." He gave Varias a small, timid smile. "I wouldn't mind some eggs." He started following the other student. "How do you know how to make bacon and eggs?" He was sincerely curious, wanting to know if he could possibly learn. He hoped he didn't get paranoid about his father finding out, however, as that was what happened every time he was given a possible moment of rebellion.
