Zyon cracked his knuckles. He could feel the wolf inside him beginning to claw its way to the surface. "You know the drill?" Alura asked him for the third time that night. "Yes, I know. Stay in sight of each other, howl if there's any threat, avoid the local packs and any humans. Why do you keep asking? This isn't the first time we've run." He scoffed irritably. It was becoming more and more difficult to hold on to the conversation. Suddenly the shift was upon him, and after a few seconds, a wolf stood in his place. Wagging his tail. he took off into the woods.

Alura/edge of forest/19/female/human

Rolling her eyes at her brother's antics, Alura raced afterwards. Even after a few months, she still wasn't used to seeing him shift, but it was getting easier to watch with time. Laughing, Alura playfully pushed Zyon's shoulder, starting a game of tag. She knew he was purposely going slow for her, but it was the only way for her took an eye on him. The two siblings raced further into the forest.

Jessica thought of the offer on the table now, looking at table, weighing her options deeply. Then her eyes moved up to his and she smiled. “Can i have more of the tea then?” She was still nervous about controlling the wolf inside her but the tea seemed to help a lot.

Brahn let out a soft snort. "We must be something special then." he said with a dry tone of voice but knew that Novak would know that Brahn was trying to make a light joke. His tone would never come off as friendly or joking except to those that really knew him. He flicked his ears lightly. "So there are other places? Were they as calming as this one?" he asked.

As the evening breeze passed through the woods and brought a chill to the already cold air it carried a scent that made Kai stop in her tracks. Human. There was a human on the pack's territory, along with a wolf she didn't quite recognise. A quiet rage grew out of the gnawing, empty feeling in her gut at the thought of a human trespassing into pack lands. Rage and hunger were never a good combo in the shewolf. She wanted a meal but common sense told her it was better to avoid confrontation with her current state of mind. Instead of stalking off into the woods without a second thought of the wolfling, she tilted her head back and howled into the dark of night. Her call was wordless in form but carried a message of warning. ' I know you are here.'

Will looked up to the dark skies, walking around the woods. His large paws trampled the small grass leaves. He picked up his pace into a trot and continued his way around about. As he heard a howl, it felt empty but also angry.. Was some human in pack territory? Nonetheless he was curious who made that howl. He smelled the air that carried a scent. It was Kai, but faint on a human scent. He looked up and fasten his pace to go check, in no time he made it, just close ahead of the shewolf. He tilted his head, the human scent was just a bit stronger here but not only that it was with another wolf he hadnt quite known either but the scents lead to pack territory. "Kai?" He said in question looking at the shewolf.

Kai stood in her human looking form and narrowed her eyes at William. She was still cross with him over the whole Jessica situation. Babysitting her had put Kai in a bad mood before going to sleep and smelling a human on the territory only made it worse. " Can I help you, William?" she asked in not the nicest of tones.

Zyon whipped his head around as he heard the howl. His fur bristled and a growl tore its way from his throat. The underlying threat in the other wolf's tone was obvious and set him on edge. He figured they were just as enraged about Alura's presence as his own. He raced back to Alura and stood in front of her, facing the direction where the sound came from. His ears flattened and he let out a howl. We'll leave. But I will not tolerate threats against my family.


Alura/the forest/19/female/human

Alura felt a shiver go down her spine at the howl. "Time to go." She mumbled, running her fingers over Zyon's shoulder to get his attention. "Let's not cause a scene." She bumped him with her shoulder and began to walk back towards the edge of the forest. The entire time, Zyon remained within an inch of her. Both continuously scanned the forest around them for any threats.

Triko nodded and refilled her mug. "Try not to worry so much." He told her with a light smile. "Things will get easier with time." He knew that it would be hard at first but she seemed like a bright young lady and he was sure that she would be able to handle thins with practice.

Grace smiled and looked at her brother and sister getting a nod in response "yep we are in agreement. I'll see what they want for him after dinner." she said with a soft sigh. She wondered deep down what the colt was gonna be like, would he have his mother's calm temperament and his dads build or the other way around. Ari chimed in "I think it's Talon's turn to do dishes since he lost the last sparring match this morning." she teased her grey eyes so much like those of her siblings. Talon groaned and then added "maybe some of the freshmen class. I've been talking to a few of my friends who are like us troubled teens most of them in foster care. There are some who are in group homes too. Maybe they would enjoy some fun for a night. And I know the girls have a few close friends that would love to hang out with us and a few cheerleaders maybe," he joked then shook his head his raven hair was now just past his shoulders and looked a little shaggy but he didn't care.

Mikael listened to them and smirked when Talon groaned about having to do the dishes. She nodded. "That sounds like a good idea." She looked at each of them again and smirked. "We will be expanding the property a bit too. The old man and I finally got everything worked out. So we will not only have more property but the stables and the house along with his garden, field, and storage buildings.
She looked at Grace. "That's why I'm not worried about having a place to put him." She looked them over again. "That dos not mean that you get to jump into clearing everything out. They is something that can wait til breaks."
