Raejiita hummed quietly to herself as she began to light a cooking fire. The flint sparked suddenly when she struck it, creating a small blaze on the firewood. Rae hoped that they'd go back to Skudalen soon, she needed to restock the supplies. She was sure that Cricket would agree, wherever he was at this moment. Rae sighed and looked over what she had left over from the last time they had been in port. She decided to make pork over rice and use up some of the extremely salty pork and preserved rice she had.

Looking ahead he smiled, luckily they were pretty close to the island and it would only take an hour to reach. Looking up at the sky he saw that the sun was already half way so it must be noon. He watched as everyone surried around to keep the ship sailing. "Take control of the ship" he told the man standing next to him. Walking down to the lower decks giovannie desided to take a look at the supplies, they had enough food and drinks to last them another week along with amunition to last 2 weeks.

Sid put on a fake worried look as he paused for dramatic effect. "I have bad a case of handsomeness." Sid said as he dropped to one knee and over dramatically threw his fore-arm against his forehead.

Maven snorted. "In your dreams, Narcissus," she chortled sarcastically. Maven's thoughts were actually far from the moron standing on deck next to her. She was focused on how the sea had begun to churn and rise. Dark clouds shadowed the sky and it was the wind that ripped the water into such a frenzy.

Sid followed Maven's gaze to the clouds and restless waves "Shall I go wake Skaith, or will you?" He asked as he rolled up his sleeves and got his knives at the ready for cutting rigging. While the brown-haired male waited for Maven's reply he mentally prepared himself
for climbing the mast to open the rest of the sails. He also prepared himself for the possibility that he would have to wake up Skaith he hoped Maven would offer to do it, the only time Skaith lost her cool was when she was woken up from her rest. Sid had even heard a rumor from the crew that Skaith threw the last person to wake her up overboard.

Maven grinned mischievously. "I think I'll do it, thanks," she said boldly. Maven grabbed two wooden pails and filled them with water from the tub Mako had been in. She walked down into the depths of the ship until she found Skaith's room. Maven opened the creaky door quietly and slunk over to what she likes to call Skaith's dog bed. She proceeded to pour both pails of cold water on her half-sister.

Maven snarled in irritation as Skaith's miniscule weight hit her back. In counterattack she didn't even turn around. Maven simply looped her black tail around the leg she had kicked with and pulled hard on it, hoping to knock the Faeren over since she knew Skaith couldn't shadowleap while prone.

Skaith Shadowleaper

Skaith bared her teeth as she landed on the ground. The wolf Faeren got up and jumped in Maven's shadow, grabbing the midnight black tail and pulling Maven in with her. A moment later the two Faeren appeared in the shadow of the sails, Skaith sat on top of Maven still holding the captian's tail. But Skaith had a feeling it wouldn't be long before Maven retaliated so the wolf Faeren got off Maven and growled at her, her wolf fangs gleaming in the little sunlight that remained uncovered by the clouds.

(I'm sorry if I had Skaith do too much before giving Maven a chance to retaliate, I just really wanted to stress the fact that Skaith gets really mad when someone wakes her up. So just let me know if it was too much and i'll change my post)

Maven snarled in anger and grabbed the hilt of her longsword. She knew that if it came down to close combat she could easily win, but she was hesitant to attack Skaith with a weapon at least 10 times more damaging than whatever she had shoved up her boot. Sure Skaith could teleport, but Maven knew she had the advantage in raw speed and power to begin with. Maven always tried to keep her temper from flaming up for a reason. She tended to get carried away. However, you can't expect to pull a cat's tail and not get scratched, so to speak. If either of them were being logical, they would have just shrugged it all off. Maven stood very very still as she glared right into her half sister's eyes, daring her to attack.
