"Just follow me!" I laugh and stop flapping, spinning so I'm facing the army base before flapping my wings and flying off at a medium pace. "Come one, slowpokes!!" I call, laughing.

Lex followed after her, using her power to get down. She could hear a faint sound, but she didn't know exactly what it was. "Do you guys hear that?" she asked them, looking around for the source.

I nod slowly. "Yeah. I don't like it. It reminds me of Selena's song, without lyrics. What if Selena's working for them again? They could be trying to lure us in..."

Alexandria's eyes widened. "Are you sure it sounds like her?" If it was, this was not good. "If that's what's happening.." she bit her lip, looking in the direction of the base they'd escaped from not too long ago. "..something has gone very wrong." Lex knew she could probably use her power for them to not hear it, but how long would it last? If it could get to a high enough frequency, it might be able to shatter through her barriers, at least at some point if she got tired.

"I'm not certain, but it does sound similar. Should we risk going in, or trust that Eris and Nomo can look after themselves?" I ask, turning the decision to one older than me, and most likely more experienced.

Magdalena listened to the other ones speak, getting more worried by the second. She didn't know who Selena was, but anyone of the army's side was bad news. She stated silent for now.

Her eyes narrowed as she thought. If Selena truly did go back to the army, and they were using her for her song.. She hesitated before saying anything. "If we go, it'll be really dangerous. I don't know how long my power can last against her voice, even if I make a sound barrier." she said. Lex didn't want to leave the others, though. "But if we leave them there, they'll likely be forced to do whatever her song will make them, and that could be bad for us."
