I never thought it would actually happen. I never thought it would come to this. I never thought it would be this terrible. But seeing... is believing.
Welcome to New York. Or... What's left of it. What used to be roaring streets and towers to the sky is nothing but rubble and wreckage, covered with a blanket of flame. The sky that used to be a sweet blue is now nothing but a placid grey. The entire population either got crushed in falling skyscrapers, burned in electrical fires or was obliterated in explosions. Well, they either died or turned. Yes, turned.
The zombies. They stagger through the streets searching, feasting on anything living, or moving. That's how it is all over the world, in fact. What used to be the bustling, free haven of America, with over 1 billion people, is left with only 100 refugees, maximum. All of whom have lost hope and hidden in their own little camps, not caring about other survivors.
But there is a 'safe' place. A place where the radiation hasn't effected the green grass and blue sky. A place where the shelters have resisted the explosions and earthquakes. A place the Hoard hasn't infected. But no-one knows how to get there. Only a few select people in the world have information on it, and, of course, they're dead or hiding out. The movie stars, television presenters, all the 'important' people. I suppose they think that the rest of us will eventually die out, and they'll be the last ones standing.
There are four types of survivors in this new world. There are the Survivalists, who believe it's every man for themselves; the one's who take what they need and leave what they don't. Then you've got the Hoard... they explain themselves. They make up most of this world now. The next type are the Team Players, who would rather everyone else get to safety first, even if it means putting themselves in danger. The last type, usually the most common type of survivor; the Loner.
It's your turn to enter the dead world of walkers. Good Luck.

3. No killing people unless I say it's ok.
4. Everyone has to die some day. Just saying.

9. Start with small supplies like a knife or bat, maybe a shotgun or pistol if you were brought up on a farm.

11. Please don't join then not post anything, you need to be active. This doesn't necessarily mean I'll be on 24/7 though.
12. NO POSTING OVER A PAGE WITHOUT ME. If I need to leave, then please don't go on for 15 pages without me, ok? c:
13. Please PM me a sample of your writing before you join: I want a lot of people, but I need to know how good you are at writing. Please make sure it is your work and you can write about anything! c:
