Akalina merely nodded at Sylvia's question. She supposed she would only say more if she asked, so the female just listened to Conner as he talked. This would be interesting, to say the least.

"Aka, what do you think of the rings? Should we try and find them? I mean, if the shadow thingy gets them, it could very well destroy this world. But if we manage to keep them from its clutches, then we'll find it a lot easier to defeat the thing. It's a risk, but one that could pay off. What do you think?"

Akalina thought about it. "I think it's best to find them, regardless of whether or not we can use them. Their power can be useful.. and dangerous. We should get it, if only to keep it from.. whatever that thing was." she said, thinking through it. "If we can keep it from growing more powerful and possibly help us, it'll be worth it."

Akalina looked at Conner, wanting to her his input before saying anything. Out of habit, she kept her hands in the shadow cast by herself, creating a small, dark sphere in her hand and fiddled with it, rolling it between her hands. It was a way for her to release her energy when she needed to.

"Since no-one's answering, I'll take that as a yes!" My grin widens slightly as I turn towards the cafe before stopping suddenly, my grin frozen on my lips. "Something's wrong." I say in a hushed voice. "Something's very wrong." My smile slips off my face as I look around slowly, my hand drifting to the dagger at my side, preparing to throw it at the first 'enemy' that moves.
