Bride met his gaze, mirroring the sorrow that shone through his eyes, "Many, many times." She took a sudden keen interest in her feet and swung her legs, slow with miserable nonchalance. "I was to be a mortal's bride, once," she whispered hoarsely.

Jon:
Jon looked at Bride, " I'm sorry. For me it was an old woman. She was like a mother to me. Without knowing me, she took me in and fed me. Then, a couple years later, she died." Jon stood as the bus came to a stop in front of them. When the doors opened Jon motioned for Bride to go first. "Ladys first."

Seth shook his head. "Nope, sounds good to me. Our best bet is probably at the park, like you said, or the cafe. Rumors tend to spread well in places like that." He said.

He nodded. "Ok, let's go." He said, beckoning Seth to follow him towards a place he knew. He was going to the park, he preferred the outdoors. He liked dogs as well, they were much simpler than humans. He could never understand humans, they always changed there minds.

Eldest, Demon of Age

Eldest hesitantly took a seat across from Lilith. Shifting uneasily and attempting to find a comfortable position, he laid his forearms across the table, but soon found the the surface was unpleasantly sticky.
"Disgusting," he sneered under his breath. Mortals are even filthier than I thought..
He glanced at the menu. He had never bothered with human food. He didn't need to sustain himself with these calories and proteins. He didn't draw energy from the consumption of these muffins and tarts. It was almost as pathetic as the aged that he wrought agony upon. But he grabbed the menu nonetheless, using it as a cover to shield his face from the rest of the café, and tuned in on the many conversations going on around him. He was bound to pick up some valuable information eventually.

Bride

Bride nodded, stepping onto the bus. She gazed at her feet, focused on putting one in front of the other. The disconcerted glances and sneers tossed her way did not count. She sat down on the hard leathery seat, patting the spot beside her to indicate that this was where she and Jon should sit.

She caught his sneer and nodded on agreement. "Humans are." She looked at the menu, not really reading it but listening to the conversations of humans. She heard plenty of interesting things, she would usually enjoy playing with the humans but she heard nothing of any use. She looked around out of the corners of her eyes, nothing interesting was really happening but it was best to keep a look out. She saw a human approach them and heard her ask. "What would you like today?" Lilith thought about what drinks she had picked up out of conversations. "I'll have a caramel latte." She said without missing a beat. Not much fazed her bur she really needed to pay more attention to human customs.

Losing his patience, he walked away. He supposed he didn't need to work with people to keep humans alive. Not that he liked humans but they were fun to play with. He pulled his hood firmly over his head before heading out of the tree line, the sunlight wasn't his domain. He lived in the shadows, nightmares never happened in the light. He walked back into the city, thinking about what to do.

Seth

Seth nodded once, keeping his pace matched with Dan's. As they walked, Seth mentally tried to figure out some sort of plan to gather the information they needed, but he wasn't quite sure how to predict the actions of others, and this frustrated him. Seth liked to have control over things, and was perfectly content with being in charge.
"Have you heard anything about this entire problem at all?" Seth asked the demon in front of him, just trying to strike up a conversation to avoid an everlasting silence between the two.

Thief

By now, Thief had already wandered off, and was glad that nobody tried to stop him. He didn't care to try and reason with anyone; they wouldn't have listened anyway. Thief wouldn't bat an eyelash if three-quarters of the population suddenly decided to vanish all at once, but he thought the majority of the others would erupt into a mass panic if such an event were to happen without warning. Glaring forwards, Thief walked out of the forest and into the sunlight of the park, greeted by the sound of young children squealing at one another. He sighed lowly and kept walking, not even bothering to hide the annoyed look that was always on his face.
