Immediately sensing the hostility and attack I jump up to avoid the hit, flipping back landing on all fours again before aiming a claw at Erin's arm while he is recovering from the attack he just missed.

Jaai growled under her breath. Next time she would listen to her instincts. She tried to grab hold of Rowan's arm and tug him away from the lunging gal. "Why are you attacking everyone, woman?!" Jaai hissed.

Erin barely winces as Gwen's claws bite into his arms. He takes the opportunity to grab her wrist, hoping to restrain her some to give the murderer a chance at healing Cadence.

I growl at the male holding my wrist using my other claw to aim a slash at his neck whilst kicking out low to knock the male off balance which may cause him to release me from his grip.

Rowan could sense the conflicting emotions radiating intensely from everyone around him. Erin was making an effort to hold Guinevere back, to give Rowan a clear path to Cadence. Rowan would be sure to thank the boy as soon as this was over. His outstretched hand was about to make contact with the dying woman when somebody grabbed his arm, pulling him in the other direction. Rowan tried to struggle, but Jaai's grip was stronger. Rowan could never use force to resolve any situation.
"Please let me go," he begged Jaai. "Cadence doesn't have much time left... please. I don't want anyone else to die."

Erin stumbles and gargles blood, but tries his best to hold onto her. He regains his balance quickly and takes a jab for her ribs, hoping to break a few if it connects. He almost felt bad, but he enjoyed causing harm. After all, it wasn't like she was innocent.

Jaai tightened her grip. "You could get hurt, and you are too important for that. Cadence is expendable. You aren't." She glanced down at the unconscious woman with distaste. "Wait."
Jaai released Rowan and grabbed the woman's wrists and dragged her to safety. "There, Rowan."
She focused on making a barrier between the fighting lair and them, and careful rose an almost three foot wall for safety.
