He took the hand of Alan, "no problem, I would invite my friends to any of my parties. But how have you been? Got any lucky ladies yet?" He laughed and poked Alan with his cain when he said that, "I bet you have met many with your personality."

Allison listened to the conversation and smiled. Monsieur Monde seemed like a nice guy. Except well, he was a complete stranger. Biting her lip, she walked up towards him. She didn't want to interrupt the conversation but he really wanted to know why they were all there.

"Excuse me?" She asked nervously, clutching her bag. "I was wondering... why did you invite us here? I mean, I don't know you-"

It was just a letter that was delivered.
An invitation to a party, sent in by a Mister Monde that I didnt even know of until today.
The invitation was quite fancy, the envelope was not just flimsy paper that held a badly decorated card.
It was better.
And it compelled me to go to this quote on quote party.

I took a nice little twenty minute bike trip, ending up at the address a little after the clock struck 12pm.
Locking my bike up to a streetlight somewhere nearby, I then walk up the large steps of the mansion and push the monumental wooden doors.

This place was eerie and huge.
I found it strange that I did not know a single person here.
Not a single one.

Aoalani received the letter to go to a party she shrugged and went back inside to her home to change. She changed into a purple dress with lace trim along the bottom and a matching pair of shoes. Aoalani grabbed her purse and called a cabby to take her to the Monsieur Manor . She got in the cab as soon as it arrived a few minutes later. Aoalani paid her fee to the driver and entered the manor and didn't see anyone. She said softly, " Hello."

I smile at the male chuckling slightly, "I sure wish Monsieur Monde. The ladies tend to avoid loners like myself." I explain as a female comes up. She looks at Monsieur Monde and posses a damn good question, 'Why were we invited here?' I didn't know this man... did I?
I look around at the new people, who'd just come in.
I realize I should probably associate myself with them, if I didn't know anyone, maybe I could make a good first impression, get my self a girl. A sly grin passes over my face, though before moving on I wait to hear the answer to this ladies question, why were we here?

Aoalani sighed and looked around this lavish manor. She shrugged her shoulders aND sat down in a red velvet chair. Aoalani felt at ease at least for the moment and a part of her had a eerie feeling about this so called " party." .

He nodded and sighed, "that is a shame, you are a handsome chap. And the reason I brought you all here is because when I met you, you seemed rather nice so I thought why not invite them to my party?" He walked forward to be more in the middle of the new visitors before pointing at the other people dancing on the second floor. "Everyone here except for you guys seem to have clicks so to help with that once everyone else arrives we will do a little game to get to know each other better."

I look at the male before me, "We've met before?" I ask the male whilst glancing over at the female who approached. I give her a have-you-met-this-guy-before look. My ideas of mingling with the others having vanished in the shock of this male saying he'd met me before. I was so sure I had never seen him before today, but that deja-vu was saying otherwise.
"Where did we meet?"

He shrugged, "I do believe it was in a store, just because I am rich does not mean I don't need to eat." He laughed, "it was in the dairy section, we had a rather pleasant conversation." He looked down to a watch that was on his wrist, people were running late, he never liked it when people arrived late.

Aoalani got up from the chair and swore that she heard taking in another room. She saw a girl and a guy talking to the person that invited everyone here. Aoalani said, " Um.. hi." She was always shy around others due to a innocent at school.
